“I was there as a first time musician this past week. They took great care of me. Very nice place, very clean, excellent food. I got there very early to give myself extra time to set up, and I took notice to how great the service was for the patrons. My only complaint is that I didn't have room to try everything on the menu, because everything looked absolutely amazing. Good problem to have! And the regulars there were very friendly as well. I highly recommend giving them a try, whether you want to go for a fantastic dinner or check out some awesome live music on the weekend.”

“A tucked-away winery and vineyard just outside of Harrisburg, I had a wonderful and warm experience with the lovely folks at Buddy Boy Winery. After being immediately greeted upon entering the quaint Tasting Room, my girlfriend and I were asked if we wanted to partake in a tasting or if we wanted to just eat a meal. We were told that a tasting of five wines would be free, while a tasting of ten wines would be $5. Five wines for free? No brainer. We took a look at their wine collection and went ahead and made our selections. We had an extremely outgoing and friendly server, Leah, who gave fantastic suggestions and was chatting us up throughout the whole experience. After the tasting, we decided to have a meal on their patio and enjoyed the views and weather. Once we finished the meal, we decided to purchase some wine bottles to-go and went off on our way. Even though the winery was a bit far from other attractions, the wine tasting and the friendliness of the entire staff was definitely worth the visit. Not to mention, they were extremely good with social distancing policies and face coverings once you stepped inside. I felt safe and confident throughout the whole time I was there. I’ll definitely be going back, perhaps next time with ten wines to taste.”

As a local Perry Countian I was skeptical knowing someone from out of the county had bought a piece of county history but I have to say the owners have gone above and beyond to not only make this a wonderful establishment but to keep the importance of this buildings history to the locals. And the food is.....amazing! We found ourselves thankful we told the waitress not leave the menu because we probably would have order sooooo much more. Make sure to get the local favorite the Dresser burger and the bacon ranch cheese fries are to die for!”

“Hard to say enough good things about this place. It's clean, the staff is cheerful and courteous, and the food is turned out quickly and in good order. Oh, and, the food! Fabulous. One of the best damned places for traditional American pizza. Big round of applause for them as they are open till 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday. Every flippin' place in Cumberland County rolls up its sidewalks around 9pm (ya shameful grannies!) so Mamma's is a delight... even if you do have to ride up to New Bloomfield! So, go!
