Liberty Kitchen PHL

The best Italian sandwich in Philly. Not even kidding. Perfect mix of all the ingredients. Also love the Pig and Fig. Also the tomato pie! If you've never had it, try it. It's not just a cheeseless pizza!

Tough to review this place.

I was unhappy when I got the sandwich because I decided to order based on an old menu online. I thought it would be current because the place hasn't been there very long, but they have risen the price 5 dollars apparently in a few years.

The people were nice, which. I appreciate in the neighborhood.

The hoagie was somewhat substantial but really nothing too special. The bread was an imitation of a south Philly seeded roll. The meats were nothing too special. The cheese was about average. There was a strange relish on it.

The sandwich is worth maybe $12 post pandemic. 9 pre. For $16, they should really take a field trip to Ricci's or Antonio's or even Primo's, sadly, to figure out a better direction for that price.

Awesome hoagies is an understatement here. I'm not sure why they bother to cut them in half because I can't hold back and end up eating the whole thing in one go.

Staff is super friendly and helpful, which is why this place gets full marks.

As a note, when they say spicy, it's a good amount of heat. None of this "we think black pepper is hot" business.

The staff at Liberty Kitchen is always so friendly and welcoming. They make the best hoagie’s around. Also the tomato pie and desserts are amazing. What else can you ask for?
