Pizzeria Beddia

Pricey pies, but so far it's hands down the most flavorful pizza I've had in Philly. Definitely takes pizza up a few notches. Perfectly crisp crust with some char, sauce that packs a punch of herbal flavors without being overbearing, and generally high quality ingredients. Order ahead of time to avoid the frustration of having to wait. Highly recommend.

Pizza... awesome. Nice location to meet with family. The service was very helpful and welcoming. It has a great interior. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.

After reading an article in the paper about summer corn, replete with recipes and reviews of special dishes at some local restaurants, my husband just had to try the sweet corn pizza at Pizzeria Beddia. It was well worth the hour long round trip to get takeout. Arriving there was a little tricky – Lee Street looks more like a narrow alley than the streets I’m used to – but when we arrived, a staff member was there at curbside to take our name. We pulled up on the sidewalk since we were a few minutes early, he brought out our order, and away we went. For the lack of parking and tables, we made it back home with our mouths watering. Delicious! The corn and the basil joined with the cheese perfectly. The crust was unbelievably good. We will be back.
