“The food is always fresh and plentiful, and their prices are fair! I usually get the fried shrimp (very good and taste like shrimp are supposed to taste!) or the 4-bone Bar-B-Que platter which comes with two sides. I usually get the candied sweets because they're good. The collared greens leaves MUCH to be desired as does the commercially-made potato salad. I used to get string beans but S&J Seafood took them off the menu. Oftentimes, they will either forget to include my Bar-B-Que sauce on the side, like I request, or the ribs will arrive SWIMMING in sauce!”

“Tried this for the first time after walking by probably a hundred times. Got one of the lunch specials and it was okay, not the worst I've ever had but not the best either. Next time I'll have to try the duck, I probably should have ordered that this time but I was in a rush and didn't think about the menu. Overall service was quick, portion was good size, and staff was friendly. There's an $8 minimum for CC charges but they take cash and card. The lunch special was $9.25 which was a meal plus spring roll, which I think was a great price for all the food.”

“Another must try at Philadelphia Reading Terminal food market. Fresh Amish baked donuts. Watch fry, fill and decorate the donuts while you wait in the line to order. Fillings are not too sweet and the donut is light and fluffy. Our favorite flavors include Boston cream, Oreo cream , key lime, apple or blue berry fritters, triple chocolate cake, maple bacon, and banana cream. There are so much more. The line is long but moves pretty quick.”

The service here is fast and right near the doors off Arch street so you can be in and out in no time. They offer mild and hot BBQ sauces which really compliment the juicy ribs.
