Belle's Cafe

Fantastic waffles! Honestly they may be the best I have ever tried. Crispy on the outside but light and fluffy in the middle, served with delicious berry syrup. A bit pricey, but excellent food.

Best setting for breakfast by a chef if Newport. Absolutely delicious. Be sure to look at the specials. Fresh fruit and real maple syrup on my apple cinnamon french toast.

The menu is not large but the food we had was fantastic. The location is great just sitting on the dock. If you are in the area definitely find this place. We will stop by again.

Food was delicious and expertly prepared. Reasonable prices and they include a reasonable tip in the total. Will definitely be back.

Belle's Cafe is located at the Newport Shipyard in Newport, RI. It is off the street so it is easy to miss. The dock master told us it was a hidden gem. He is right, although I don't think it will remain hidden for long. We had breakfast there and it was awesome. A great selection of things to choose from that are healthy and delicious. I had avocado toast with eggs which they garnished beautifully with lots of fresh fruit. Excellent start to the day. From Belle's it is an easy walk over the bridge to the Goat Island Light.
