“Has a splendid atmosphere, I love their giant booths as well. Our server was nice as well. Ordered two burgers and a kid's pizza and a kid's mac and cheese. The kid's pizza was super cute they had two long trails of crust coming off it to make it fun looking. However the sauce on the pizza wasn't the greatest and there was barely any cheese and the crust was burned black in some spots. The mac and cheese seemed to be made from homemade noodles which were not cooked well enough and just mushy overall. The burgers both orders medium were pink inside but immensely charred on the outside, at least the bacon on the burger was tasty. Prices are on the higher side too but granted you are in downtown Newport. Probably wouldn't eat here again. Also note for families - they have an extra tall high chair available to fit at the booth table and provide kid's menus with crayons - but no offer of any form of kid's cup or straw.”

“Fun restaurant/bar. If you like oysters, this place is for you! The bar/restaurant downstairs is lively and busy. The food was tasty and the wait staff were great. Upstairs the bar was hopping. There's an outdoor area as well as plenty of indoor bar area.”

“We stopped in for a late lunch while out shopping. I don't think I have ever been here before, if so, I forgot... The restaurant was quiet, as most are, late afternoon. The best thing I can say about this establishment is that the view is incredible. Located in the Harbor, literally right on the water. The view is spectacular! Would be an amazing view if your on a first date and want to end dinner watching the sunset. Winning Instagram shots for sure! There are many, many restaurants in Newport. Newport is a beautiful place with a lot of history. The restaurant industry out here is very competitive. I can only say that if I owned this place I would do a lot of things differently. I imagine the clientele consists mostly of tourists, with a few local boater or bar regulars who come for music and cocktails. There are so many restaurants in such a small location, I can imagine it isn't easy. If you don't live VERY close by then you're coming in on a boat or have to cross two bridges to get here from anywhere in Rhode Island. Beautiful spot, best I can say...”

“Typical Ben and Jerry's shop, with a good selection of flavors and no seating. I'm very happy they provided several non-diary flavors with almond milk; perfect for my spouse and me. Portions weren't overly generous, yet I was quite satisfied with my small cup of caramel almond brittle (with almond milk).”

“We came here for lunch with close to 80 people( mostly middle schoolers) after a field trip. The entire staff was friendly, courteous and incredibly efficient. I had no faith going in that the lunch would go so smoothly with such a large group. Food was good and came out quickly, they gave us individual bills and all were courteous! Great job!”

“Harry’s really got me wanting for more with its signature burger and entrees. The prices were good, and the food was worth the wait. I like how they offer two small pieces of burger for the order of one, it makes the dish a little lighter for people who have a medium appetites. All in all a must try if you are visiting the town of Newport. ( after a day of visiting the Mansions of Newport, of course! )”

“My fiance and I stayed at this hotel on Memorial Day weekend and it was excellent. The hotel had easy and accessible parking all weekend. The receptionist was extremely helpful! Since it was our first time in Newport, she took the time to explain and map out all of Newport's best restaurants, bars, and tourist areas. She then showed us to our room where she had opened the windows and made the room very comfortable. It was all very welcoming and accommodating. The room was comfortable, quiet, private, and spacious. Lastly, the complimentary breakfasts were delicious. They were different each day and were hot, fresh, and on time (8:30am). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back.”

“All the dishes had amazing flavor. The restaurant was full the entire time we were there. I ordered one of the "fancy drinks" with mezcal which was awesome. If you're visiting RI, this place is a must try. Strongly recommend reservations for the weekend.”

“I have an absolute love for Thai food so I always seek out these restaurants in new towns. This place was delicious, it seems that you can find quite a few great places like this all over the northeast. Naturally I am almost always going for curry, today was the red curry with eggplant. Fantastic rich flavors galore. Cute place, very clean, fast and friendly service. I absolutely recommend it to anyone.”

“Unbelievably fresh and delicious seafood restaurant. If you're looking for something that's fancier then a lobster / Crab shack (although we love those too), away from the crowded piers, with incredibly fresh seafood prepared in an open kitchen this is your place. We will be back for sure.”

“What a gem! I needed breakfast while visiting a friend in Newport and discovered Lorusso's. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is classic American with a flavorful twist. It's also delicious and very fairly priced. So far I've been two mornings in a row and I plan to make my way through the entire menu this summer. The bacon, egg, and white cheddar on a croissant was delicious in its classic simplicity and generous construction. The corned beef hash breakfast plate was the best corned beef hash I've ever had! I can't wait to try to lemon poppy pancakes. They are putting the finishing touches on a fresh update and the spaces feels welcoming and bright. I highly recommend Lorusso's for your next casual breakfast/lunch/afternoon tea.”

“The quality of the food and service are excellent and upscale. Prices are pretty competitive and match the food and service and well. It's not somewhere I'd personally go often, bit for our visit, it was very nice. It's a great little restaurant situated in an older house, which they keep in excellent condition.”

“Went there as part of a food tour today and would definately come back. Chicken was moist with a fabulous crunchy coating that you can taste the honey and the salt...slaw was tangy and bright, and the biscuits were perfection, crunchy and sweet on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Nice!!”

“Located on a great spot in the Newport marina, The Grill at Forty 1 North is a classy bar and restaurant to chill with friends and loved ones as the sun goes down or to check out the docked superyachts (and maybe say hi to their owners and crew!). Although known more as a hip bar with cool cocktails, the food and service here are excellent too, for both lunch and dinner. It is pricey, but you are paying a "location tax" and it's worth it for a special treat, or to impress! The seafood towers and the squid ink pasta were fantastic and highly recommended.”

“I hired Brick Oven Pizza Party to cater my event and I am still blown away at how AMAZING their pizza was. In addition to being hands down the best pizza I've ever had in my life their customer service was incomparable. My only problem now is nothing compares to how good their pizza is seriously nothing!! I highly recommended using them for your event. I know I will be using them for a family reunion now this year. I attached our friend took of it coming out of the oven. Thank you again Matt, and Rory!”
