Wilcox Tavern

LOVED our dining experience at Wilcox Tavern, aside from great food (the creme brulee was absolute heaven), our host/waitress was wonderful. Such a great time. Was well worth the visit. We will be back Mia.

Delicious food
So fresh. The owner, Mia, is such a wonderful person. Hard working, dedicated and makes a great cocktail. The scallops were so amazing and I love them the farro side. Way better than rice. So good. Can't wait to try the prime rib.

I loved this place. The dining room space is traditional New England and beautiful. For something different, in the front is a cozy place.. Watchang Tavern which is the original Stanton house. They have a fabulous happy hour Wed - Sun 3-6. The menu is named Tavern Time and includes Stanton Snacks (the fried olives were yummy) and fun cocktails for $7.30. Craft beer is $1 off and house wine $5. You can't beat this place for ambience, value and delicious food.

Service was excellent. I went with a party of 8 with 8 separate checks. We had cocktails and almost all of us had something different...scallops,stuffed shrimp, pork job with fig glaze, burger, linguine with clam sauce, crab cakes and salad. No one had a complaint. Be careful if you go in a larger party. 18% gratuity added in that none of us knew about. At the last minute someone noticed. Almost gave a 38% tip. Service was good, but not that good.

Wonderful experience at Wilcox Tavern. There's something on the menu for almost any taste. Nice wine and beer selection. And the bartenders, Amanda and Michelle, make you feel like you're family.
