The National Hotel

We were lucky to be accommodated by Gabby at the front desk and the manager after a problem with our room at another inn. They were so helpful to us and basically saved our trip by giving us a room and a discount to match our expenses. The rooms are very quaint and the vibe at the National is so nice. We enjoyed being so so close to the beach and ferry. Thank you all again!

I have been staying at the National twice a year for over 20 years. It is so magical going back in time with the beautiful decor. It is extremely clean and the property is well maintained.
It is right on the water so you can hear the waves at night as you fall asleep.
The staff is always friendly and available. Julie Fuller manager is so delightful, always making time to visit with guests. Looking forward to booking my next visit in June.

Had delicious lunch on the veranda. Gorgeous view of the harbor.

We had a corner room with a great view of the ocean. The room was very comfortable temperature wise, with a new, quiet air conditioner. The room was very clean and bright, as was its bathroom. My husband and I really enjoyed the bed which felt like a cloud! The sheets were very fresh and white. The cleaning people actually changed my pillowcase as I'd gotten lipstick on one, so I could tell that they noticed and brought me a fresh one.
The hotel has a wonderful back veranda to sit on, from which you can eat while listening to live music. The waitstaff is very attentive and the food is excellent! We have stayed for 3 visits since 2013 and plan on many trips in the future, and to stay at this charming, beautiful hotel. Oh, they're also dog friendly in the back of the hotel so that your furry companion can sit right by your outdoor table.

Been staying here for years! Love the staff and the place. They've made some wonderful improvements!!
