Food here is awesome! Drinks are great, and usually the service is wonderful. Just had drinks/apps today, but the only reason I did not give 5 stars was the waitress we had, Claire. Seemed nice at first, but brisk; clearly trying to turn the table as soon as possible, which shouldn’t be so obvious to a customer. There was no one waiting to sit (it was 2-2:30pm). I had my last piece of pizza in my hand, and while I was taking my first bite of it, she took my plate away; I had nothing else on the table to put my pizza back down on. She came back and asked if we wanted coffee or dessert, and we said no as we just wanted to finish our drinks (which we had just gotten from her). She came back right away with the check; no biggie, but it seemed like she was trying to rush us out. We paid (credit card), and we signed and tipped quickly when she came back. As soon as we signed, she grabbed the signed receipts and never said a word to us; no thank you or have a nice night. Felt so awkward since we still had full drinks.
Lovely breeze where we were on the veranda. The Cajun swordfish was delicious with stuffed mushrooms and asparagus! The small bottle of champagne was a perfect accompaniment. Our server and other staff were warm and helpful. A big recommend!
This restaurant was amazing! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Very cool that you can pull up on your boat!! The staff was fantastic in getting everyone indoors before a big storm hit and were great taking care everyone inside unexpectedly!! Highly recommend if you are looking for great food and atmosphere!! The bruschetta was the bomb!
Food is above average. Hummus and pizzas are good, so is lobster salad and calamari. Multiple seating areas inside and out although I prefer the ambience of the upper deck. Solid choice for lunch or dinner in the super cute village of Wickford.
