What a convenient stop in the heart of Wakefield! Benny’s Clam Shack offers great food and good vibes. The staff is polite and the prices are fair. Although we couldn’t get N.E. Chowder at 8:00 PM on a Friday, it’s understandable due to their size.

A rhode island unique treat. New York style hot wieners. Sauggy wiener in a steamed bun with meat sauce, mustard and onions. Benny's Clam Shack has the best in all South County. French Fries have a nice spice to them and the young lady at the register is cheery and friendly.

What a cute little place serving such interesting dishes like scallops and snail salad. The gentleman behind the bar was friendly and although there's not much room to sit the menu looks good and it looks like there's places to sit outside as well. On normal days they wake up & open early so that's a real convenience for people who want Seafood at 6 a.m. check it out and enjoy

I have been looking for a place with good fried fish for awhile. Benny's hit the spot. Down in southern RI, we have a lot of places where the friend fish is so coated in batter that I feel like I'm eating a corn dog. Not Benny's. Light batter. Flaky fish. Just what I needed. The fries were tasty, too. Now don't plan to stay in the winter. There are maybe 4 seats inside. It isn't fancy and it isn't expensive. It's just yummy.
