If I could give TEN STARS I would!!! I just ate at this restaurant the other night.. BEST crab cakes in the state. I have had crab cakes from all over the east coast and when I say BEST in the state I mean BEST in the state. We also had fried calamari and boy was it perfect. The breading on the calamari was perfectly crispy and golden without the calamari being too chewy, what a perfect balance. After our appetizers, my wife and I shared the Clams Casino and also each had a lobster. Wow....WOW. One would think the owner walked down the street to his own lobster trap and caught them fresh for our order. My food was prepared with care and presented with the perfection you would see on a top-notch Netflix cooking show. On top of all of this great food, the view overlooks the Weekapaug jetty with boats coming in-from and going out-to the ocean so there is always something to watch while you're enjoying your superb meal. I almost forgot to mention... the drink menu is spectacular too! I imbibed a few great local craft beers while my wife enjoyed some creative twists on classic cocktails that were executed perfectly and presented professionally. All-in-all, our experience here was exceptional. I would HIGHLY recommend it. My one piece of advice would be to call ahead during peak hours as they often get filled to capacity and there can sometimes be a short wait by the outdoor bar.. However, when you're waiting for your table you are sitting at a beautiful outdoor bar with full service so its a win/win!!! Seriously... enjoy this place before you die, its heaven!!!!
