“Best Indian food in South County, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! Went to Taj last night for dinner, and we were truly blown away by the wonderful food and excellent service (very pleasant and accommodating staff made the experience that much better). As a side note, by wife cannot eat gluten or dairy, and since she found this out, has not eaten Indian food in a long time bye to not being fully aware of what the foods were cooked with. Well Taj very clearly labels their menu with which items are Gluten free, dairy free, and vegan; and they had so many options for her! We will absolutely be back here, probably next week! Please come try this place for yourself so we can keep Taj alive and thriving in South County!”

“If things had gone well, I could have given them a 5* review, but..... The website hung during reservation. Pro said the fee did not go through and that I should pay on site. So we paid on site and found afterwards that we were charged for the original reservation. A nice message was left, since we enjoyed ourselves, followed up by an e-mail. Then more messages and e-mails, all with no response. Once I posted a 1* review, I got a response. After providing the support for the 2 payments, the course extended us 2 rounds to offset the two that were double charged. The Client Services Director was helpful, but I can still only give 3 stars because of the reservation system and and the initial lack of responses from phone calls and e-mails.”

“This is a new restaurant, only open for 4 weeks now. The food here is delicious!! We started with the thick cut chips, it has a blue cheese sauce with bacon and chili flake. These are a Must Have! I had the clam chowder, WOW. Made to order, thin broth, fresh clams in the shell, potato gnocchi, bacon… again, WOW! My wife had the burger, my sister had the berry beet salad, and I had the fish and chips. Everything was just delicious. We will be back here often and I am going to be sad when it’s so busy we have to wait. I highly recommend that you go soon to beat the crowd that’s going to develop very quickly. As an aside, if you like duck? Come here soon, it’s the house specialty.”

“The food was good and the service was also good. Very friendly wait staff and bar staff. We sat inside and I had chicken parm which was very good. Large crisp chicken breast with excellent sauce and plenty of mozzarella. They have an outdoor patio in the back right on the water. We did not sit there but it looked like it might be a great place to dine or have cocktails. They have a very large bar which is great. Fairly decent size dining room also.”

“I went here with friends on a Sunday afternoon. Everything was fantastic! The chowder was delicious, creamy with plenty of clams and potatoes. The clam cakes were very good. Perfect size and had clams!! The lobster roll and the lobster fires were both spectacular! Nice to have a clam shack back with a nice staff to go with it> I will definitely be back>”

“For only being open for a few days, you'd never know it. I came in around 11:30 and couldn't decide on breakfast or lunch and I was in testing and tasting mood. So I decided on the sausage n gravy on a biscuits with eggs and home fries and a bowl of chowder. Never seen sausage gravy with so much sausage it was excellent! The chowder was phenomenal loaded with clams and potatoes with a light cream base / broth.”

“Just moved to the neighborhood and happy to find such a great place near by. Good selection and great prices. Cooked food was very tasty, and the fries were actually really good and crispy. A lot of other fish markets that do fried specials usually have soggy fries, but these were great. The fried fish was thick cut, moist and flaky. Definitely recommend the fish and chips. For a small fee they will chuck the oysters for you which is a huge time savor, ordered 3 dozen for a party and they are nice and fresh.”

“Stopped in while passing through to do some work while drinking some craft beers, and it was the best decision I made that day. Dave was a great bartender, told me more about their operations, kept me set with cold beers, and just went out of his way to see that I had a good visit. I've been to a lot of breweries, and there's a big difference between those who want to sell beer and those who want to sell the craft beer experience along with quality brews.
