“My girlfriend and I tried this place because it was a minute walk from us. First impressions were that it has a great look and feel. Service was fast but not quite as friendly as what I would call par for the industry. Seating was a little cozy, the group next to us was close enough to make it feel uncomfortable and less intimate. The food was great, but definitely on the plain side. If you like lots of spices and flavor this may not be the place for you. I ordered a pizza with a double portion of olives. What I got was what I would consider scant even for a single topping. I've had pizza at over a dozen places in RI and all of their single toppings far exceeded this "double topping". I double checked my order with the waitress and she confirmed that she told the cook I asked for double toppings. I plan to go back at one point, but if they continue to put scant toppings on their pizza I will have to either ask for a refund for the toppings or have it remade.”

“Went in today for late lunch. We had the sticky rice in lotus leaf, golden custard buns, Mongolian beef, and braised lamb belly clay pot. Everything was very good, the lamb meat was flavorful and tender and the stomach was delicious but not too tough, this dish was a star! The Mongolian beef was ok, maybe a bit too salty, but very tender and not bad by any means just not as good as the lamb. Both steamed dim sum were amazing, custard buns are very sweet, almost like a dessert, and the rice in lotus leaf has meats inside and is full of flavor. After the meal we were served small bowls of a chilled coconut and taro soup that was refreshing and cleansed the palate.”

“Came here for the grand opening. I am a mostly fish and veg eater, and the menu had a lot for me to eat. I got the crab soup dumplings and the veggie bao, my friends got the Dan Dan noodles and pork belly. The food was all delicious! The way they serve the sake is too cute. I loved the vibe, the music was eclectic and fun. The decor was super cute, our waiter was very friendly and answered the questions we had on what I could and couldn't eat. I recommend coming with a small group and getting things to split. We will definitely be back!”

“Bayberry is a large, open beer hall with an amazing beer selection and a refined ambiance. They typically have 14 beers on tap and many more in bottles. The space is very clean and the decorations are subtle but very nice. The best and biggest surprise is the food, though. Some of the dishes, particularly the spicy chicken sandwich, are as good as you can find anywhere in Providence. It’s not cheap, but the quality is so high that it doesn’t matter. “Staff was friendly, and informative. I've never had hot pot. I will say we got a very spicy broth, which was great until the spice itself was so overpowering that it masked the flavor. Got a half and half of two other broths, and really enjoyed it. The pig brain, I know I know, but it was DELICIOUS and I could eat a HUGE bucket of it! Very creamy and awesome delicate flavor. No weird flavor to it at all. Definitely give it a try, but make sure you use the slotted ladle to cook it. If it gets put IN the pot free and on it's own, it breaks up and floats off. Definitely give this place a try. ”
