“I am not a bit hesitant to give this restaurant all 5 stars after my dining experience. My family and I made a reservation for 6 of us a month in advance just to make sure we would be able to get in for a birthday celebration. Everything was better than expected from the atmosphere, to the hospitality and of course the most amazing meal. We had to order the famous clothesline bacon of course to start and that was just as expected. We each ordered different steaks for our main course, all cooked to perfection. A manager stopped to check in on us during our entrees which I felt was a nice gesture. Is this an expensive restaurant?? Yes. But it is worth it! Especially for a special occasion. We will be back, thank you double barrel for a memorable experience !”

“From Ohio, but I was on a trip with my boss. We came here since he knows the owners from work and I have to say it was great! Food was really good and I think what stuck out the most to me was the atmosphere. How they treat the locals and customers in general was out of this world. I really enjoyed it. “We booked here at the last minute and paid over $450 for a small queen room. The hotel boasts a historical feature. The exterior is a charming old red brick and the location didn’t disappoint. Valet parking is a surface lot next to the hotel and was $40 additional. The valet was courteous and helpful. When we approached the desk to check in, two staff members were chatting and another staffer was on the phone. We stood there for more than a few minutes with no one acknowledging our presence. The two chatting staffers never said “We’ll be with you in a minute.” Or “George here will be with you as soon as he’s off the phone.” Check in was quick. The room was very small and a bit sadly decorated. It could use some repairs/updates, especially the wood furniture. The TV is huge and hangs ominously/in-the-way/wobbly above the desk. The bed and all linens were wonderful - very comfortable and clean. Likewise, the walk-in shower was a pleasure and the soaps/shampoo/lotions were exceptional.”

“What an AMAZING Experience!!!! We would have given her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, if possible! Our extremely good friends surprised my wife (for a milestone birthday), the gift of Haley coming to our home and preparing a meal for us and another close couple. It was a great evening, and Haley prepared a fantastic 3-course meal. We started off with a Summer Gazpacho, which was absolutely delicious. That was followed by a Moroccan Spiced Chicken with Dates and Pistachios and brown rice, which was a wonderful blend of Middle Eastern spices and some heat. It was an amazing entree. Our last course was a beautiful, individual Fresh Fruit Tart with Vanilla Cream. It included a perfectly prepared French Pastry Cream. Her culinary skills, delightful sense of humor and how she engaged with us, makes her the perfect chef for any occasion. We are currently thinking about how we can incorporate Haley in some of our future events!”

“I was hoping this was going to be good because its so close by and offers some very different breakfast options and it did not disappoint. The food was very very good. Especially "the Motuleno" it was fantastic. The Eggs Benny(perfectly poached)and pancakes were very good as well. (Although, we ordered a single pancake but a full order came out instead.) If I'm being critical my daughter's French toast was on the soggy/slightly undercooked side and we were charged for the full order of pancakes which we didn't order but my son really liked them and took the rest home so I guess no harm no foul but we shouldn't have been charged for thier mistake. That aside, our server was kind, courteous and helpful when it came to ordering and she and her colleagues were very attentive. Even what I assume was the owner/manager came and checked on all the tables. Overall an excellent place for breakfast. Will definitely be back!”

“My husband and I discovered Kellie’s by accident and we were so excited to try it. We finally stopped in before we headed out for our vacation and it was amazing! My husband was longing for steak and ale pie and he loved it. He said it was just as if he was having it in England. I had sausage and mashed and it was yummy! They also sell so many English treats!
