“We had a birthday luncheon at Rose Hill/The Stables and it couldn’t have gone any better. Sadie and Chloe (who took care of us) both were on point at every step, with suggestions up front and throughout service - they really made it a success. Everyone complimented the food as well, especially the French Toast and Shrimp and Grits. The Speakeasy Room in the Stables turned out to be a perfect spot for 12 people for lunch. Most importantly, the birthday girl was thrilled. As a service industry professional myself, I have nothing but compliments for the staff, the overall operation, and their flexibility in accommodating numerous special requests. “Don’t drive by the bright green and orange restaurant on your way to or from Aiken on Hwy 19, Los Jarochos, without stopping for the best and freshest Mexican food in the area! It has a large, varied menu and very reasonable prices! I go there for the house made corn tortillas, crisp chips, sensational Chile relleno (add chicken or beef, if so inclined), and sizzling fajitas, loaded with a great variety of veggies and meat choices, but there is so much more. The restaurant is simple but scrupulously clean; and the service is quick and friendly. Actually, I suggest that you make it a dining destination!”

“Myself, my daughter, granddaughter & great-granddaughter went for dinner. The food was good & reasonably priced. However, service was not good at all. We waited about an hour for our food to come. The waitress never came back to ask if we wanted drink refills. When my daughter finally asked for refills it took her awhile to come back. There is no shortage of wait staff there so that was not the problem. I don’t know about the kitchen staff. The restaurant was not full when we went in so that was not the problem. We saw some tables get tired of waiting and leave. Definitely would not recommend to anyone or go back again.”

“My wife and I have had two meals at Los Tres Compadres. It is officially our new favorite Mexican restaurant. First off, we have met the three owners and they are friendly and personable young men. Second, the food is excellent. It is made from fresh ingredients, carefully prepared and served piping hot. The atmosphere is very nice with a true Mexican ambiance. Although it is not quiet it isn't noisy either, unlike many Mexican restaurants. It's actually a good place to have a conversation. Finally, the prices are reasonable.”

“Stumbled upon this hidden gem while searching for a new place to eat and was not disappointed. I was drawn in by seeing a unique menu that featured bison, kangaroo, gator, and boar. I started out with the wild boar stew and my ony disappointment is I ordered too small a portion. It was hearty and I used the bread to clean the bowl of the broth. No photos of it because it disappeared before I thought about taking a picture. My girlfriend had the Matt Dillon Chicken Sandwich, and I was gifted a fry, and they were awesome so I can assume the same of the sandwich. I had the Mojave Sampler, which featured the main samplers on their menu, and the price and portions are definitely filling for a sampler plate. Overall, great place and i will definitely return.”

“We are trying to support our local food joints now more than ever. We ordered 4 different sandwiches with the waffle fries as sides. The food was excellent and portions were large. The staff was pleasant on the phone and even nicer when we picked it up. Someone from the kitched popped their head out and thanked us for the business. “Not impressed at anything oh wait they had Dr. Brown's Black Cherry and a good pickle, everything else was meh. Their bread to meat ratio is off. The corned beef was mealy as if it was frozen. The rye bread isnt Jewish style. If you have never had a real delicatessen experience then you won't be too disappointed”

Seafood fried to a light airy perfection, seasoned perfectly, and cooked, served and sold by the nicest people you could ever ask to meet. I just relocated to the area after being away for 12 of the last 14 years, living and working abroad and the western half of the US and I was afraid the old adage about never being able to go home would proved true....but Mj's definitely put those fears to rest.....it is entirely possible to return home when home has folks like those at Mj's around! “Today was the first day I have ever eaten at a Wild Wings Cafe. I will say that we had an awesome time. Food was great with lots of sauces on wings to choose from. Service was excellent and worth every penny. Our server Cynthia was very knowledgeable, tentative, and worked her best to create an amazing experience for my family. The only thing I wished for was a hotter sauce but none the less, all three flavors I ordered was delicious. We were very impressed and will definitely be going back.”
