“While my wife and I were visiting Augusta, I happen to stumble across Bobbys looking for something to eat. I called to see what was on the bar. A very nice young lady answered and actually walked over to the bar and gave me the options. That sealed the deal for me. We drove over and had a GREAT meal. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. Oh and can't forget to mention the price was more than reasonable. I live in south Georgia but will always remember my experience. I strongly recommend this to everyone.”

“If you're thinking of going to MiRanchos or any other Mexican restaurant around Aiken you will be missing out on one hell of a great treat! This is a family owned and ran true authentic Mexican restaurant and the food is made from scratch. Your mind as well go to Taco Bell if you go anywhere else. Don't let the location fool you they might as well as pulled the restaurant from Mexico and dropped it off right there.”

“Just ate here for the 1st time, and honestly I was very pleased. I had the pulled pork and hash, and my coworker had the fried catfish plate. Both were quite delicious. Probably the best hole in the wall restaurant that side of town!”

“Pleasant atmosphere, & people. I think they could do a lot better with their menu choices. I really enjoyed eating there more about 20+years ago, when the food was excellent & the breakfast buffet couldn’t have been better.”

“The Whitney is exceptional in every way. From the staff to greet you the moment you walked through the door and treats you so special to the moment they tell you goodbye. The staff is knowledgeable, the restaurant is gorgeous, The food is outstanding. We’ve been several times and every time our food has been wonderful the service impeccable.”

“Great food. Service left much to be desired. Hopefully it's a fluke. Normally, the wait staff is great. This time, not-so-much. Took an unusually long time to get orders and waitress wasn't even moderately apologetic. I hope this doesn't become a trend. ????”

“Outstandingly mediocre. No corkage policy. Owner claims people were bringing in wine on the restaurant's wine list. Fine - ban that but not a bottle of 2007 Scarecrow that I brought. Want to charge $50 for corkage - fine. Not only did the policy mean that I won't go back, neither will any of my dining companions. Then there is the negative publicity that four people can discuss. There is no reason to go to this restaurant.”

“My main course was exceptional I had the pork tenderloin. The rest of the meal however was okay at best. The salad was like one of those dollar salads from Burger King. The bruschetta was just tomato slices on toast. My wife and mother-in-law's meal was bad they didn't even finish it. The service was excellent and the staff was very nice. Overall I'd say the place just isn't worth the money.”

“Went here last night for some dessert after dinner at the brewery around the corner. We stuck to ice cream for the most part. I don't think Betsy's makes their own ice cream but it was pretty good. My buddy got the coffee milk shake and he said it was good. My girlfriend had a scoop of deer tracks ice cream in a waffle cone. She said the cone tasted good and the ice cream was alright. The ice cream had a kind of gritty texture which was a little weird. She said it was good aside from the texture. I had the triple fudge brownie Sundae which was awesome. They make their own brownies fresh and they heat it up to order for the sundae. The brownie was topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and a cherry. Classic. The staff was kind and welcoming. The lady behind the bar who made our desserts was nice but she couldn't remember our orders and didn't write them down. However, she did clarify our orders before making each one which was good so we ended up getting the right things. I would definitely go back here. It has a classic diner feeling and we did enjoy the desserts. I 100% recommend it!”

“Fantastic food and the best place to watch the sunset in town!!”

“The food is great, but be prepared to wait for hours. The waitstaff is unorganized and snail slow. Don't bother trying to get a drink from the waitress...just go to the bar or you'll die of thirst. Otherwise, live entertainment in a cool atmosphere with a fun local crowd. They have a small kitchen, and I get they were busy, but that's really no excuse for waiting over a half hour for drinks.”

“Went in for a sandwich and discovered their Jerk Chicken Sandwich. Wonderful flavors and great bread make this a new favorite for me. Thomas, my server, provided excellent recommendations and prompt, friendly service. Will be going back for this sandwich soon! Outside dining is available.”

“I like the atmosphere and the effortless blend of Asian and southwest dishes on the same menu. However I do not appreciate paying 12 dollars for one quesadilla. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful when it came to explaining what was on the menu”

“Have been here twice, and both times were great. First time, stopped in to eat food during the Oktoberfest in Aiken. Much better German specials here than at Oktoberfest. Second time, drove out just for this place to see what specials they had. This time, it was red snapper. Also amazing. The bartenders were phenomenal, and noticed an error with our order. They fixed the issue, and seemed to really care about the service we received. Will definitely return here.”

“Most of the food I have tried has been really surprisingly tasty and well cooked. The bar is adequately stocked up with a variety of higher middle shelf spirits. Beer is mostly domestic with a small draft selection however it seems to rotate frequently. Drinks are rather basic but fairly priced and made well. Service is always friendly and usually prompt. They do occasionally get busy/backed up but I think overall they hold it together. The atmosphere is cosy when not overcrowded. Weekdays are best for quieter meals while the weekends are pretty lively. Outdoor seating and service is available and pets are welcome outside. Their outdoor bar is typically open later than any other in The Alley. **Recommended** Firecracker Shrimp, Dry Rub Smoked Rings, fried wings tossed in Firecracker sauce, and the Beef Nachos.”

“Small Mexican restaurant but delicious food! Located at the downtown of the beautiful city of Aiken, it’s a nice place to gather and enjoy the flavors of the Mexican Food! Ask for spicy jalapeños and try them! Fire out! Family friendly restaurant. The Margaritas are the best! The food had a good taste and flavor always.”

“Great place for delicious Indian food”

“What a great server. I believe her name was Danielle. Very friendly and outgoing. She accommodated me at the bar which isn’t a typical seating arrangement but being solo it was preferred. They do have an amazing outside courtyard area that is amazing as well. This restaurant is very flattering to the eye and a great location to have a nice meal with a special someone. There is a lack of children present and that could be just a coincidence but hey, finding a kid free zone can be a diamond in the rough!”
