I am never disappointed with what I get from Chasing Sage. Delicious food full of flavor. I have celiac disease and their gluten free options are fantastic. I have not reacted from their food with anything but delight. I still have yet to try a mochi donut, but that’s next on my list of eating my way through the menu.

Me and my wife recently moved here a couple months ago. My mother law is in town and always wants ramen anytime she visits us regardless of where we live.. After seeing this place listed on a reliable food website I decided to give it a try. Maybe I'm being so critical because charleston is a foodi Haven and the quality of that food here is on a whole different level. But the ramen was average and the karaage was subpar. The mochi donut was actually pretty good. I get that there is some overhead head costs being in downtown but it doesn't justify the price of 15 dollars for ramen especially considering the quantity. I like the idea of this place and the rotation of foods, but in a city with some of the best food i have ever had, they need to step up there game or atleast make the portions reasonable.

Have been at Chasing Sage for almost 4 different menu rotations so far. I love how they bring out different flavors that you wouldn't normally see in Charleston. The dishes aren't half-baked either. Between the Japanese, German, Thai and Peruvian menus, every line up has been authentic and true to its roots. Ingredients are all fresh and locally sourced and the attention to detail on the presentation down to the little stickers on the takeaway containers really prove to you how much the CS team cares.

The Green Curry and Pad See Ew were great! We also ordered the mango and sticky rice desert... but the mango was really not ripe. Overall pleasant experience, would just pull the desert from the menu if the mango aren't ready to be served.
