I was looking for some real local soul food and found this nice place. It took us a bit to find but definitely worth it. All the food felt like homecooked meals. The restaurant is a little small so it might be better to get it to go. The staff and ladies working were so nice and funny.

this is my first time in Charleston South Carolina and I did a Google search for crab legs. Nana's seafood & soul showed up and showed out! This food is very very tasty. I love crab legs and this is the first time I've ever had them fried. I really enjoyed them. I also recommend the pineapple lemonade! I love pineapple and I love lemonade but never put them together, this is such a great creation!

I must say, "I am very disappointed about my experience at Nana's. I first became aware of Nana's from a television show, were the Garlic Crab was praised as being great. Made plans to visit on Father's Day, booked hotel, drove 5 and half hours to Charleston. Went to Nana's before checking into hotel. Garlic Crab was on my mind my mouth watering. Get there, walk in. I say, "drove 5hours for your Garlic Crab. Do you know what the young woman said, "we ain't got it." What? This is Nana's right? Atypical Right?
    WE AIN'T GOT IT. PLEASE.

Picture tiny mom and pop shop in the south with a breezy interior and the smell of seafood spices. The food was delicious. The line was (understandably) long but the food was worth the wait. Seating is limited so if you’re from out of town and are staying nearby take your food to-go. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The food was DELICIOUS there was a bit of a long wait but the food I received was worth it. It was definitely cost efficient. I got my order to go because I was traveling but also because the restaurant was small like only 3 or 4 tables that i saw. I definitely can't wait to see them enlarge their territory!! Great Job Nana's Seafood & Soul!!!
