“I usually enjoy this Applebee's, but tonight... not so much. The restaurant was not that busy; probably 25% capacity. Still it took over ten minutes before a server showed up at my table. Given all that time, I was ready to order my whole meal. The mozzarella sticks appetizer was adequate, but the serving of marinara was less than halfway filled and burning hot. It seems like they must have microwaved it just before plating it. I had to wait to be told that I'd get a refill on my tea. When the server returned with my entree, he noticed that he'd forgotten the tea. The steak fajitas that I'd ordered looked nothing like the menu picture, with hardly a hint of peppers and onions. When I brought this to the server's attention, he did graciously provide an extra order of them on the side. Midway through the meal I was asked, "Is that all you want?" Then I was informed that my check was coming because the server had cleaning to do, but I could take my time finishing. Thanks. It wasn't horrible, but with the amount of choices of places to dine being plentiful, the attempt to supply reasonable service really could have been much better.”

“The portions at this Italian restaurant are incredible. We ordered grinders with a salad as a side. The salad was prepared fresh and was definitely more than a regular side salad. The grinders were served on cheesy bread and the serving of steak was generous on each one. The place was clean and sadly not that busy on a Saturday evening. Definitely worth trying a few things on the menu!”

“This was our first time here. It is so hard to find a decent pizza place but Matt's didn't disappoint. The service was super friendly. We were asked several times, by several people, how we were and if everything was ok. The wings were delicious, way better than we've had at any other pizza place. The pizza was also very good.”

“It's actually pretty good, but gets too busy for them to handle well during the afternoon rush. So when a problem does come up (it's fast food, something will eventually if you go there enough, just the nature of the beast), they usually just aren't able to spare the time to really address it. So I've had a couple bad experiences as a result. But the food is tasty and the staff are friendly enough, so it's certainly not a bad place to go for a quick bite.”

“This place was wonderful! Spacious outdoor seating with large umbrellas to shade the sun. My server, Melvin, was super awesome. He recommended some of the dishes to me and did not steer me wrong with the shrimp and grits. I never had an empty glass and he checked back with me frequently. When I told him I was new to town he chatted with me about things to do and places to go. Price was good, food was great, service was top notch!”

“This used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant when we lived here before. We recently moved back and the food was still pretty good but there was definitely a stems to the air. It smelled like raw sewage. I did use the restroom and it wasn't coming from the restroom which makes me think it must be coming from the kitchen. I'm torn on whether I want to go back or not. Previously I would have given them five stars no question but the place just seems dirty and with that smell with her recent trip back after a few years of being away.”

“What a fantastic find for a night out in Summerville, SC! Looked for something local that was open past 9pm, and this spot fit the bill, and then some! The owner was super-knowledgeable about the wines he has in stock, and wasn't pretentious about his knowledge (like you may find in other wine bars). He walked us around his cellar in the restaurant, giving his take on great wines from multiple wine regions from around the world, as well as breaking down interesting tidbits about the grapes used in different regions & answering any questions we had about certain varieties. If you're not into wine, they also have a nice selection of craft beers in bottles and a few on tap. We didn't get around to trying their Tapas offerings, but there were some mouth-watering options to choose from, as well as good wine-pairing options to go along with your glasses of vino! We're going to try to make a return trip before our trip is over to explore this gem some more!”

My husband tried the Momo Salad and really enjoyed the fresh veggies! My sister had the Shrimp and Grits—I tried some and they were delicious! We had the chance to meet the owners who were in the dining room working and chatting with many of the other diners—love that southern charm! The portions were huge and more than we could eat—great food and overall eatery, and an incredibly friendly staff! Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful place to eat, the food was really good with reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and checked up on me during every step of the meal. I had the beef and cheddar, fries and mac and cheese. The sandwich was a little messy but had wonderful taste. The fries were good also, and I was happy they had vinegar on the table. I wish there would of been napkin holders as well, but the staff was paying attention and brought a stack of napkins when they saw me struggling. The menu, that I wished would of been available online, had plenty of choices. I am already planning on returning to try some other options. Everything was reasonably priced, entrees with fries under $10, $2 sides including some tempting boiled penuts. I will definitely be back, thank y'all for a wonderful meal!”
