“I visited on a spectacular day the weekend after Thanksgiving with my senior parents who have limited mobility. We enjoyed a perfect day visiting the new museum, taking both the Gullah and the house tour as well as having a fantastic late lunch at the tea room. I highly recommend spending a day at this stunning property and learning from the well informed staff and owners. My parents were able to manage well enough on the grounds using a rolling walker and canes. The food in tea room was top notch, reasonably priced with pleasant service. Enjoy a day stepping back in time and learning about the history of the plantation and people who left their mark on this land.”

“Fantastic place to grab a bite and coffee with small children. Stopped in with my three and two year old, and had a great experience. There are toys to play with, a very friendly staff, a proper changing table (not a pull down), and spare diapers for really little children. The coffee was excellent and the food was yummy and the service was lightening fast!”

“New update of McDonalds in Georgetown is very nice. Bright yellow and striped chairs make the overall environment very cheerful. The kiosk allow. Each person to select their own choices by the computer. If you take a number the food will be delivered to your table while you talk and wait. Very pleasant service.????”
