The place was busy during lunch on a Friday but we were able to seated with only a short wait. Service was good but typical of a place where there are a lot of tables and few staff so be patient. No draft beer.”

“Our preferred lunch stop in Georgetown. The seafood breading is very light. Shrimp and scallops are delicious. The sides are good too. Slaw is like a seven day slaw, vinegar based and a little sweet. Black beans and rice are good too. Portions are large enough but not too big. Perfect in my opinion. Add a cold Corona and lime and you have a great lunch. Hmmm, may have to go again this week.”

“Best place to go to and have a beer or wine or mixed drinks, it is on the water. Great food. Has two bars, one inside and one outside on the water. There are games, there are pool tables. Excellent to go to and have a great time with friends. I love the view on the outside bar so beautiful, and cozy right on the water. And the employees are friendly. This is a people friendly bar. Unlike the ("Big Tuna") Do not go there! Worse place ever! Bad food bad service and bad staff. Go to Cast aways where is a people friendly place.”

“My family lives in the area and I've been stopping by every time I visit since I was about 9 years old. The latest time, the food was a bit of a let down. I ordered shrimp and whiting for breakfast. The whiting was fried hard and very greasy. The shrimp was better prepared, but the taste wasn't what I was used to. I live by a fried fish place in Atlanta, a completely land locked city hundreds of miles from any coast vs Georgetown, a city by the sea. There was minimal flavor difference. After visiting for nearly 20 years though, I'm willing to chalk it up as one bad visit before completely writing them off as "it USED to be good". We'll see what it like the next time I visit in a few months. Current visit would be 3 stars but I'm giving them 4 for all the reviews I never wrote in the past ~20 years.”

“I saw this pizza restaurant when I was working in Georgetown today and decided to call in a order of pepperoni pizza. When I walked in I could tell it was a authentic Italian restaurant. As I waited for my pizza I watch The Kooks prepare the food and the aroma was was fabulous. The staff was hard at work taking care of customers. The flavor of the pizza is perfecto. I would highly recommend this restaurant. You're probably going to have a weight but it is so worth it. The pizza taste so authentic I was so pleasantly surprised. And I can't say enough about I just amazing how hard they were all working together.”

For dessert, we tried the coconut cream pie and took home a strawberry shortcake cupcake...everything was delicious!
