“In town visiting relatives and we stopped by the Wacca Wache Marina to grab some drinks out on the deck. What a BEAUTIFUL setting! The huge tree in the middle of the deck threw enough shade to keep it quite comfortable even though it was 88 degrees outside. The staff was very nice and on the ball. Didn't have any food but the menu looked tasty enough and we will have to try it on our next visit. I will most definitely be back!”

“A hidden gem that you should definitely check out if you're in the Murrells Inlet area. It's at the very end of Washesaw Rd. There's a parking lot for the restaurant on the right side after the boat docks. A very peaceful patio where we listened to great live music while enjoying the views of the boats on the water. Also, you can watch the beautiful sunset. The food was amazing, even for a limited menu. There's was a little wait but it was definitely worth it! I had blackened shrimp tacos...yummy! Pet friendly also!”

“We decided to come in and have a meal, after seeing reviews on facebook. We were pleasantly surprised to run into one of our favorite bartenders from another brewery, Taylor. She was just as amazing as always and we’re so excited to frequent this location now. The food was impeccable, we adore the “local ingredients” aspect and enjoyed our meals tonight! “Well, I'm from California and this is my second day visiting South Carolina. I wanted to try a home cooked Southern meal. I was advised to visit Back Home BBQ. The ambiance inside the restaurant felt as if I was visiting someone's home. The food that Back Home BBQ offers is a country style buffet with all the fixing at a great price. If your near the neighborhood come by and visit, you will not regret it. :-)”

“At 930 pm. Music level was just right to hold a normal dinner conversation. Staff was happy and attentive. Greens were crisp. We ordered the steak and ale pie with kabobs and sausage rolls. The food came out pretty quick. The quality was Supreme. Presentation was top notch . The owner was present and very attentive to the customers. I would recommend coming here as either dinner spot or hang out.”

“Sunday outing. Seafood lunch with the boss at Murrells Inlet. The lobster mac 'n cheese was tasty as was the corn bread. The steamed clams were good too. The seafood platter was nice but way overpriced for a platter that was more than half potatoes. Our waitress was lovely but the hostess led us to our table, didn't give us cutlery nor did she give us the Brunch Menu. Even worse, she told us that the wait for a table on the deck outside would be 30-45 minutes. Well, we were there for 45 minutes and there were several unoccupied tables in our sight. Not a great look for any restaurant. Oh well! Can't like everything or everybody, can we?”

“I have eaten here weekly since it opened under new management and without fail every meal has been outstanding. I've tried everything on the menu except have yet to try the tacos. The batter is perfect not greasy and complements the fish or the shrimp perfectly. The fried potatoes, sometimes called Pub Chips, are equally impressive. I suggest you try them with the dill ranch sauce. The food is cooked to order so be careful because when it's served it is hot. Looking forward to cooler weather and their soup offerings.”

“We had a wonderful experience last night at this establishment. Sat outside with a beautiful view of the water and eventually could even see fireworks in the distance. The live singer was incredibly talented and the service was prompt and friendly. Our waiter Red (yes, that's his name) was very attentive. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone delicious! Can't recommend them enough. The mac and cheese was rather tasty too. Definitely one of the better meals we have had at local restaurants. Love that they give each table one dollar that you donate to a local charity as you leave. Can't wait to go back!”
