“We’re staying in Georgetown SC, a truly lovely town, and while getting to know the area everyone raved about Franks restaurant in Pawley Island, a legend of over 35 years. Well, it just so happens that a brand new 631 Franks on Front opened the same day we arrived in Georgetown so we HAD to check it out. How lucky could we get! We’re staying just a block away at The George Hotel (highly recommend) so we took a walk to see if we could get in later that evening. They weren’t open but the entrance was open so we poked our head in and met the owners who were setting up preparing their unbelievable restaurant for the evening. It would be just their second night and the place was immaculate and welcoming. Elaine, such an amazingly warm kind and personable person gave us the scoop about Franks…SO proud of their little baby of a restaurant (and she should be) that we couldn’t wait to return for our anniversary dinner that evening! No reservations but Elaine suggested we come around 4:30 (they open at 5:00PM)and grab a seat at the bar until our table would be ready. Fast forward to 4:30…we are greeted by the most delightful accommodating and welcoming hostess, Kim Teeples, whose sole purpose was to make our anniversary dinner the most special night of our lives…and as it turned out…IT WAS!!! We were escorted to the back to a table overlooking the outside deck and marina…what a view. Adjacent to the open kitchen it was fun to watch our food preparation and the entire team’s seamless execution(led by Chef Lenny who is incredible)in delivering hot super delicious meals throughout the restaurant. You can imagine the activity but we were still in our own little world with the best view and succulent food! Everyone was super attentive down to the waterers and bussers, BUT our night was made by having Michael as our server! He is undoubtedly one of THE BEST servers we have had anywhere! He is omnipresent but unobtrusive (there but not there if you know what I mean)His personality is infectious…polite and engaging wanting to make your time with him unforgettable understanding the reason you’re dining here is to relax and experience meals served hot off the grill without a care in the world…drinks refilled before you knew it, appetizers and entrees put in at appropriate timing to assure the hottest freshest presentation and a luscious carrot cake dessert brought the most fantastic meal ever to an end! Mission Accomplished Michael!!! You are truly one of a kind and we sincerely thank you for it! And thanks again to Elaine, Kim and Lenny and his unbelievable team…you made our day!Anyway…we left overly stuffed but COMPLETELY satisfied…so much so that we’ve returned the last four nights….ENOUGH SAID!!!!!”

Pay by the ounce. Need something like this in Toronto. 4 of us just did the brisket nachos and they were delicious. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.”

“Clean and the guy working was really nice the restrooms were impressively clean with dyson dryers on the water spout. We did have issues with the Air not taking our credit card and had to get quarters which was frustrating because it was very cold outside and then only gave us 4 minutes for $1.75 and we didn't get the last tire completed.”

“I visited on a spectacular day the weekend after Thanksgiving with my senior parents who have limited mobility. We enjoyed a perfect day visiting the new museum, taking both the Gullah and the house tour as well as having a fantastic late lunch at the tea room. I highly recommend spending a day at this stunning property and learning from the well informed staff and owners. My parents were able to manage well enough on the grounds using a rolling walker and canes. The food in tea room was top notch, reasonably priced with pleasant service. Enjoy a day stepping back in time and learning about the history of the plantation and people who left their mark on this land.”

“A group of seven of us stopped here after a 12-mile kayaking trip. We were all very hungry, and a little rowdy! But the staff was super friendly fast and the food was absolutely delicious. My friend had a pizza that had lemon and arugula and something else on it I can't remember but it was amazing! Will be recommending to my other friends and definitely be stopping here on our next trip!”

“In town visiting relatives and we stopped by the Wacca Wache Marina to grab some drinks out on the deck. What a BEAUTIFUL setting! The huge tree in the middle of the deck threw enough shade to keep it quite comfortable even though it was 88 degrees outside. The staff was very nice and on the ball. Didn't have any food but the menu looked tasty enough and we will have to try it on our next visit. I will most definitely be back!”

“A hidden gem that you should definitely check out if you're in the Murrells Inlet area. It's at the very end of Washesaw Rd. There's a parking lot for the restaurant on the right side after the boat docks. A very peaceful patio where we listened to great live music while enjoying the views of the boats on the water. Also, you can watch the beautiful sunset. The food was amazing, even for a limited menu. There's was a little wait but it was definitely worth it! I had blackened shrimp tacos...yummy! Pet friendly also!”

“I’m SO excited we got to try KMJ’s tonight! I’ve been waiting forever for us to have a night off to come support this mom & pop restaurant that opened up 10 minutes from our house! The first drink on the cocktail list is my favorite drink, so obviously it was meant to be. 💁♀️ ALL the food was so delicious. The staff is great, and the restaurant itself is so cozy and beautiful! When they hit you with the “I don’t know babe, what do you want to eat tonight..” HERE’S YOUR ANSWER!!”

“Oh Em Gee! This will definitely be an annual tradition. A few simple "real food" breakfast options, like bacon egg n cheese, and myriad mind-blowing doughnuts. The Bavarian creme is swoon worthy. Spacious interior, with comfy nooks for reading. Bright, clean, and friendly. Definitely recommend this place.”

“Excellent meal as always although our table had mainly younger people and all they did was texting on their phones. They didn’t engage with the chef at all. I felt bad for the chef.”

“We decided to come in and have a meal, after seeing reviews on facebook. We were pleasantly surprised to run into one of our favorite bartenders from another brewery, Taylor. She was just as amazing as always and we’re so excited to frequent this location now. The food was impeccable, we adore the “local ingredients” aspect and enjoyed our meals tonight! The hostess with black hair was super pleasant and we’re excited to see more from you all in the coming months. Thank you all so much”
