“I’m telling you all…. this lady knows her stuff and this place will not be a hidden gem for long. I’m from Florida east coast, so I’m pretty picky about my seafood. I stopped in for lunch on a whim and I was blown away by the menu offerings and execution. The lunch was so good that I asked to meet the owner, and she was so sweet and kind. She gets all of her seafood fresh from the locals at Murrell’s inlet and it shows in her dishes! My stuffed shrimp, my swordfish and crab cakes were ridiculously great (and the menu is surprisingly cheap for this quality of food). You must try the crab bisque as well. I came back the next day for another lunch and had the shrimp scampi….absolutely spot-on: perfectly balanced….not too rich and flavored to perfection…..plus the shrimp were fresh and cooked perfectly (I’ll include a picture). I will 100% be back to support what she’s doing, and not to mention….the food is wonderful!! Enjoy.”

“We were so happy I was able to have my Honey Baked Ham at my Thanksgiving meal this year! So happy we have you on the South End! The ham was PERFECT! We went back the next day and purchased your Honey Mustard sauce for my leftover ham sandwich. I think it's been over 20 years that I have had Honey Baked and it was wonderful! I hope to drop in from time to time for lunch and I like to pick up a Ham bone when I cook dried beans!”

“Didn't visit restrooms, so can't do five stars. Hard to get into, but it's clean, has indoor and outdoor seating. Large selection of drinks, bottled and fountain. Food is a little pricey. Large selection of alcohol and lottery tickets. They have diesel and window cleaners at the pumps.”

“Hidden gem, deceptively unassuming from both the outside & when your food is brought to you. Looks like just a burger and fries no big deal until you take a bite & are taken to flavor town. The food was delicious! The handcut fries come dusted with a rather unique blend of herbs & spices. I ordered the Bruiser burger topped with pimento cheese, red pepper jam and bacon and it was phenomenal. It's been a hot minute since I've been Wowed by a burger but Bruiser's definitely does it right”

“Very busy bakery. Worth the wait and the money. Had the XL belly buster breakfast bagel sandwich and was only able to eat half, so sharing is a must when you go here. The pastries all looked amazing and I wanted one of each, danishes, to muffins, to donut holes and much more. A recommendation to try for sure, this is where it is at. 10 out of 10”

“Our first visit was a couple of weeks ago and we ordered to go. Brisket, Turkey, Pulled pork, corn pudding, Mac n cheese, and fries. The sides were packed nicely in individual containers and well thought out and put together. Our family of 3 all enjoyed everything that we tried. Tonight though was a bit of a different experience. When we ordered we were not made aware they were out of brisket or Mac n cheese until probably 15 minutes after we had ordered and paid. We understood and switched up our orders with options they had available. Our to go order was not packaged nearly as well. Sides were thrown in the same container with the meats etc and just overall messy. The corn pudding that was really good the first night was not nearly as good this evening. Fries were soggy from the meat juice. Turkey was on the dry side this evening and my husbands pulled pork was lacking in flavor compared to our first visit. Hopefully this is just growing pains. We were extremely excited not to have to drive to North Myrtle for good BBQ.”

“Our St. Michael's Joyful Hearts group had dinner at Good Day Cafe on October 5th. They were very accommodating about us making reservations for almost 50 people. We were given the Elvis Room, and what a grand old time we had! Lilly and Emily were marvelous servers tending to our needs and treating us the way customers should be treated. Since we were there on a Tuesday, we thoroughly enjoyed the Lobster rolls. I heard many people comment that they were the best they ever had. Thank you for making our early dinner such a pleasant experience. We definitely will come there again!”

“Perfect! Small place on the highway that doesn't look like much, but we were mistaken. So glad we decided to try it Out! The seafood was cooked to perfection. I had the grouper and my daughter had the trio basket. Very fresh and tender. Nothing was overcooked like some restaurants I've gone to. Not very busy as they are new in town and just seem to be starting out. Highly recommend!!”

“Wanted to try since I saw some good reviews on it. Well I tried it today and I was pleasantly surprised, it was outstanding!!! Menu is different then most places with selections I have never seen, really healthy options. I had the eggs Benedict with asparagus and it was outstanding, see picture, great presentation!!!!!!!!!! Will be back again next week!!!! Couldn’t eat it all which is a surprise for me.”
