“Delightful staff and fun atmosphere greet customers upon arrival. I'm not a huge fan of burritos and tacos because they're so messy. But when my whopper of a chicken burrito arrived, it was packed so full and wrapped so tightly that I had nothing to worry about. And it was delicious. I rarely award five stars to any business because there's always room for improvement. There probably is at Boca Grande, too, but I'm not sure where.”

Chris and Glenn went above and beyond to ensure that I had the best dining experience. “Today was my first time trying this restaurant and my overall experience was pretty good. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by smiling faces. It took some time for me and my boyfriend to figure out what we wanted and the staff were also pretty helpful with recommendations. I had the lobster grilled cheese which was really good. Slightly overpriced but it’s lobster. My boyfriend enjoyed the build your own bowl , which I had a few bites and it was good as well. The only thing we didn’t care too much for is the Buffalo Mac bites. Also to add this establishment is kept very clean and black owned. I will definitely be coming back! -Sephy”

“Standard wings and seafood menu, just like its competition across the street. New, bright, and clean, friendly staff during my visit. I had honey lemon pepper wings, about average but good. Standard crinkle fries, good portion for the price. One piece of fried whiting, skin on, not very good. Doesn't appear to be any grilled option for fish which is a shame. Sweet tea was superb however, almost worth going back just for that. $11 for that 5wing meal, and I was pretty full although mostly from the fries. I'd come back to try other wing flavors and for the tea. BTW, I read an earlier review and the response from the owner. While the author probably was rude and her review inaccurate, it's a very bad sign that a brand new franchise owner would insult her and tell her to take her business elsewhere. Even when the customer is wrong, they are right, if you want to develop a solid local reputation.”

“This restaurant just opened on this side of town. The popcorn shrimp and sweet potato basket was okay. The batter on the shrimp was light which was good but the shrimp nor the sweet potato fries were seasoned. Used cocktail sauce to give it some taste. My seafood combo (shrimp and crab legs)boil was fresh but the lemon pepper seasoning didn't really give the seafood a great taste. It tasted okay. I think I needed to try a different seasoning. Emily was a good server and the establishment was clean. I would try them again. They just opened and I may need to try another seasoning combo.”

“This is the best Thai food I've had for a few years. I LOVE Thai food and I've had a hard time finding anything really good in Columbia. They use fresh herbs in the recipes and it makes a huge difference. I had the Tom Yum shrimp soup and Pad Thai. I can't wait to try the curry. I hope they have coconut rice. It's my favorite thing ever”

“Ever since they first opened, we've wanted to try the pizza, especially since they serve vegan cheese, a necessity for our household. The toppings were fresh and hearty, and the meal was delicious!! No more trekking downtown or to Lexington for Mellow Mushroom, when we can have great pizza right in the neighborhood. The rotating dairy-free and lactose-free frozen yogurt options are another huge plus for our family!”

“We had no problems with placing our order and the menu had decently priced lunch specials. However, between the three specials we ordered, it took over an hour and a half to get them all. The first two came out and we’re definitely not hot. By the time the third one came, we were beyond ready to go. The food still tasted nice, but would’ve been better if it had been hot. The poor counter lady and one cook where working themselves to death trying to get orders out. We’ll probably stop by again, but place our order to go next time and definitely not while we’re starving.”

“At first, I was excited to be seated right away, get drinks, and chips. Then the waiter disappeared for awhile. A lunch that should've been no more than 1 hour lasted almost 2 hours, which is crazy. The service wasn't very good because they had only 1 person running the restaurant. The food here is mediocre.... not bad, but not exceptional. I would say it's just ok. I gave a 3 star, because I feel that it's not the waiter's fault the service wasn't good. They simply needed more staff... especially on a Saturday.”
