The hummus was a great side! Service was great, greeted and interacted with very friendly and helpful people. “The new owners of the formerly-known Nova's Bakery of Rock Hill are SO friendly! They've taken this building and completely started turning it around as Mado Bakery and Cafe. Much cleaner, and the staff always have smiles on their faces. They haven't completely finished renovating inside yet, so their own pastries and desserts aren't out at the moment. But Odette, the pastry chef owner, has been trying out some crepes and cookies for the customers and they are DELICIOUS! I can't wait for the final product and to come back and enjoy some authentic and freshly made french pastries!”

“Superb Deli-Style sandwiches. Sandwiches were packed with fresh tasting deli meat. The turkey and roast beef are mouth watering. My partner has a Greek Salad with their own home-made Greek dressing that is seasoned just right. Sandwiches come with 2 sides. Service is fast and the workers are very friendly. Indoor and sidewalk seating and they clean the tables for you and promptly. Reasonably priced. Definitely will be going back. Negatives - the inside was a little on the warm side but Ponce the ceiling fans got going, all was good.”

“I was having a horrible day so thought I’d treat myself to an actual vegan meal out and about. It was absolutely perfect. Loved the atmosphere! Loved the employees! Loved the food! All amazing. I am vegan so thought it was all delightful. I would bet money that my family who is not will love it when I bring them the next time we are in Columbia!! It is a must try if your vegan. “My wife and I stopped in to grab some eats, baked goods and donuts this morning. The inside furnishings are a bit eclectic, but certainly pleasant making for a nice ambiance. We ordered an egg cheddar bacon biscuit which was unlike any I had before, and was very good. We also purchased raspberry thumb, oatmeal raisin, and lemon honey ginger cookies. The cookies are awesome, as well as the coffee, both medium and dark blends. The server, Julie, was extremely pleasant and friendly, adding to the delightful dining experience. Even tho it was a bit of a trip getting there, it is worth it for us to stop in again. I was disappointed that they did not sell donuts, at first, however, the cookies and food made up for it. Kudos to this establishment!”

“Stopped in a few minutes before closing to grab an iced chai latte and a banana nut muffin. Both were extremely yummy... especially the muffin. Very nicely decorated with a modern style and tons of art from local artists. There are a variety of other items for sell like ceramic bowls and honey pots and even embroidery. Definitely going to be purchasing a few Christmas presents this year from here. I do wish they stayed open a little later than 5. As a college student, I love studying at coffee shops and often only have time to do so later in the afternoon and early evening after class/work. I think it would also be beneficial for them to add community style tables in addition to the bistro tables to encourage patrons to “stay a while.” They offer art classes on Wednesdays which seem really fun. Definitely can’t wait to attend! Overall, a great addition to this side of town.”

“Enjoyed the atmosphere and not to mention the food. We had several different plates in order to taste multiple items since it was our first time. We had chicken wings, ribs/brisket plate, brisket sandwich and of course we had the peach cobbler. The only thing I wished about the wings was that they were a little bigger but price was good flavor was good. We had dry rub, and a hot sauce flavor. I personally liked the hot ones. The hubby enjoyed the dry ones. I will say the best thing we had were the ribs I could eat those all day long. So tender and moist the bone literally pulled away from the meat when I went to get one. I am not a fan of brisket thats just me so I personally did not like it but I tried it and it had good flavor. I also had a sample of chicken salad and it was really good if you like grapes, apples and nuts in your chicken salad. Some people do not. Now the peach cobbler man on man thats like grandma makes it! It was oh so good. I didnt want to put my spoon down!! I think prices are fair and bbq was good. We will be back for those ribs!! I would like to try the hash as well!”

“I've been here a lot for store purchases but never for gas until today.. Word of warning; the store puts a $76 hold on purchases for fuel in addition to your fuel cost.. I knew most stores do this on credit fuel purchases but not debit purchases.. They should at least advise customers of this hold because it could really put someone in a bad bind with their bank if their funds are insufficient.. I have no problems with this store.. Very friendly staff and very clean and organized.. Just educating people for fuel purchases.. I'm not sure if this happens with everyone but it just happened to me.. I guess results may vary...”
