“Mixed between a 3 or 4 star. Tried this place for first time. Got 3 meat plate (brisket, ribs, sausage ). Reasonably priced but amount of meat was a bit less than expected. Brisket was very good, sausage was good but very disappointed in ribs ( they had no pork ribs which is big negative), got two tiny ribs which you get like two bites worth of meat out of each. The staff was very friendly. If I go back will get brisket but no way I’ll get the ribs.”

“Loved this Oak Ridge food institution. Entering is like going back in time 40 years. My daughter and I shared a pimento cheese sandwich and a turkey club. The pimento cheese was homemade. Both sandwiches were excellent. Two members of our party had hamburgers and really liked them. We shared a chocolate fudge cake (also completely homemade) between us and found that one or two bites of the rich dessert was very satisfying. They also serve daily specials (meat and vegetables) which our server recommended we try next time. Good food and a fun lunch!”

“If you're looking for a fresh made to order sandwich, on fresh baked bread, this is your place. Outstanding employees providing fantastic customer service, which is hard to find these days. The Original is a "classic" Grinder, Sub or Hoagie, depending on what part of the country you come from. The Cheese Steak is as good as what you will find in Philly. The Pastrami Reuben is incredible. My wife is hooked on the various chicken options and raves about the wraps as well. No matter your taste, they have something for everyone.”

“I'd like to give this place at least 4 stars, but today was not a good day for them. I've been here a couple of times and I've normally received decent service and excellent food. The burgers are normally cooked very well and still juicy. The sides are usually hot and crispy. Unfortunately that wasn't the case today. It took them over half an hour to give me my food, several orders that were put in after mine were delivered, my burgers were all over-cooked, and everything was only warm. I hope this was just a one off today and they will return to their normal standard of burgers. I'll definitely try them again, and I would suggest this place as a good local eatery normally.”

“There is absolutely nothing bad you can say about this CFA. Every time I have visited they have been just as angelic as you would imagine. They work wonders in their drive through. I've seriously seen an insane amount of cars handled with care and love with every wheel turn here. The food, oh my.... you cannot beat it. Not to mention the new mac and cheese. I got the pork and there were several parts of ligament or bone in it that really detracted from the overall taste. The beans were good but the slaw was not. It just had very little flavor. The hush puppies were decent but again, nothing super special. It's an average BBQ but nothing overly special.”
