“This is my most frequently visited Starbucks location whenever I'm in Nashville. Why? Efficienct baristas. An adequately spaced layout. Convenient central location. There's an outdoor patio with fireplace, decent parking, which is not easily found at some of the other downtown or central locations. You can easily walk to other Vandy area establishments nearby. Come early before the morning crowd or long after the rowdy crowds have passed through.”

“I've been to a lot of coffee shops. NOTHING...and I repeat... NOTHING compares to retrograde. They use Onyx Coffee Lab beans and are precise in how they prepare it. I live 25 minutes away and make the drive just for the coffee. Sandwiches are good too. I stock up on whole beans (Onyx CK Southern Weather) for my home brews. Did I mention that this is the best coffee I've ever had? Vibe is great, too.”

“Great place to eat a casual breakfast (much better than a fast food joint). You can get a freshly made breakfast sandwich that includes your choice of egg, protein, cheese and bread all for under $5. They have a great loyalty program. Not only do I go there for breakfast from time to time, I head there when I want a great salad. “I think we ordered a healthy donut. The donut had no sugar-it tasted like bread with chocolate. The donuts are beautiful, and we thought they would be great. The coffee was amazing! “Real-ass Nashville experience. I love living in the city. Last time I was there a bum was fighting with the guy who runs the comic book store on the Simpsons, in the front door. Staff give NO FKS and the freaks do not wait for night to come out here. Don't look at anybody too hard or they may try to set you on fire. Parking lot is seconds away from gunfight most rush hours. But they got that milkshake machine, baby.”

“At night, you never know if it is open 24 hours or not. Sometimes the fries are hot, sometimes they are cold. There is a huge turnover in night staff. There was a man with a lot of tattoos that made sure that the food was fresh and the order was correct. The last time I went an older woman was there and the food was cold.”
