“Fun tour. Good wine. Did the house tour/wine tasting, and it was a nice couple hours. House has had a lot of effort done to assure period correct furnishings in the rooms. Also some very neat original pieces to the family. Wine was also very good, left with a few bottles after the tour.”

“The best dining experience in Nashville! Our meal was absolutely amazing. We had the 5 course tasting menu and every bite was delicious. The bread, oh my goodness, it was delicious. There are several restaurants in Nashville that serve excellent food but there is no where in Nashville with the excellent quality of service we received while dining at Yolan. Sam and Cody were the perfect duo and were so attentive and helpful. Kaitlyn, our sommelier, was knowledgeable (350 wines), delightful, passionate and an absolute joy. She selected the perfect choice for us. I can’t recommend Yolan enough and can’t wait to go back.”

“Really liked this place. Laid back but had a nice cigar selection and bar. Big comfy chairs. It was nice and cool and relaxing after a long walk to get there. It's nice it's not right in downtown Nashville but it does take a little longer to get there. Response to Owner: Oh - you are so right. My comment was misleading...we walked 1/2 mile to get there in 85% humidity on about 90 degree day - it just seemed like far because it was so hot and didn't know what to expect. We will be back! Service and selection was excellent.”

“The ham n cheese croissant was very tasty. Maria was a nice cup of iced coffee! Was bummed that their cereal coffee was seasonal because it looked so good i wanted to try it. Nice staff. Cute little shop. Worth the visit. Their seasonal selection keeps things spiced up i guess so I can appreciate that. Would stop by again if in town.”

“We came for our anniversary and had a truly wonderful experience! Several staff members wished us a happy anniversary and we were given a card (signed by the staff!) and a sparkling wine toast upon being seated. The view was spectacular, the service was impeccable, and the food was fantastic. We had the sea bass, scallops, and a shared side of macaroni and cheese and it was all delicious. We both said we would love to make bourbon steak a yearly tradition for our anniversary! Highly recommend!”

“Beautiful hotel, super sweet staff, and great price. The location was great, it was super close to everything even had a little grass area behind the hotel to take my dog to use the bathroom. They offer self parking for $15 per night. Only negative was there was a lot of homeless people sleeping at the building next to the hotel but no one bothered us and you are in downtown. Also there was no shower door which was fine but it got a little cold while taking a shower.”

“Myself and my significant other decided to check out Oak Steakhouse in Nashville on 11/01/20. We read good reviews and were set on dining at the location. When we first walked in we were greeted with a warm welcoming smile from the host. The place looks beautiful and it has uplifting vibes. The staff at Oak Steakhouse were very knowledgeable and friendly. We came out to celebrate our two year anniversary and I will happily admit it was the best choice of the night. We received complimentary champagne to celebrate our special day. The food was outstanding every bite got better! I would recommend checking out this place. I would like to personally thank Madeline and the kitchen staff for making my and my significant other’s night a special day to always remember. Thank you! P.S. “Great place to enjoy good beer and food! Beer selection was great, they have a great fly offer where you get to pick your own beers. The burger was the best I’ve ever tried in Nashville!!! Just wow! Simple but super delicious! It tastes like a home made burger. The only disappointing thing about my experience was our server. Her name was Madison. She started to give me an attitude because I wanted to sit at her big table as a party of 2 (all other tables on a patio upstairs were taken). Then honestly after all her other tables left - no one else came to the patio so it’s not like we were holding her table. Then, her check backs with the table timing was weird too, she only took our order and came to check on us when we were almost finishing up our food (other servers brought our food and beer). And she checked on us later when we were done eating (I guess checking if we are ready to leave or something). In general - not the worst and not the best server. I guess unless you have party of 4 or more - do not expect great service of Madison because obviously it’s not worth her time. But overall - great place to chill with your friends!”

“Awesome atmosphere. Not as crowded as other places for a holiday weekend, we waited about 15-20 minutes for a table, not too bad. The food is just as I thought it’d be, amazing. Chicken is juicy and they’re not playing around with the spice levels. I got the hot half bird. It’s not just stupid spicy, it’s flavorful spicy. Mashed potatoes and gravy are legit too. All the staff was friendly and attentive. I mean all of them. Even the bus boy was friendly and chatting with us as he cleared our table. We are definitely coming back here.”

I didn’t spend much time chatting with chefs, as I was enjoying the scene and views. Seems like a place where the chefs would be more than happy to talk and explain things to you as well though. I am a chef myself, so just didn’t want to go down that route. I did love the food. It was very good, well plated, and nice portions. We tried a lot of food. And there was only a few things I wasn’t over the moon for. All in all, very nice restaurant! And could see them being successful for many years to come. Watching the patrons that were around bar, definitely were loving the show!!”

“Best BBQ in town. You will not be disappointed with the Pulled pork sandwich. When you come in, you order at the counter and in a few minutes, your order is ready. The pulled pork is tender and juicy. Their sauce delicious. The fries were cooked perfectly and the beans had a little bit of meat that gave it that extra something. I would definitely return. The patio upstairs is nice to sit at on a beautiful day.”
