“Had an exceptional visit here. Literally not a bad bite. Every dish was packed with flavor! No looking for the salt shaker here. Servers were prompt and courteous, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. Parking is actually easy with the restaurant providing ticket validation for the garage at the end of the street. “This was my first time throwing axes and it was so much fun! I went with a group from work and they were able to accommodate our large group around lunch time. “went here for lunch on a weekend, and it was not busy at all. We were the only ones eating inside at the time, but the wait time for our food was very long. Our server was nice, but at the same time not very attentive. The food was mediocre at best; however, we were only able to order off the lunch portion of the menu, which did not have many options. Maybe the dinner menu is better, but after that experience, I don’t think I will come back. The bathroom was very nice and clean, and the outdoor seating area looked really nice.”

“The food at this place is OFF THE CHARTS! Look at the size of the chicken burrito I got; it's as big as a horse's head. HUGE - and enough for 2 or even 3 people. “This place is amazing! I am a Thai food fan, but never have I had thai food this FLAVORFUL! Highly recommend this restaurant for not only the food (taste and portions), but the atmosphere too. Check out the pics of the hand paintings on the walls as well as the beautifully decorated sushi and curry dishes!!!! I ordered basil fried rice with my adjustments and forgot to mention “no eggs”. Well I realized when I got the container and asked the waiter, Rocky, that I forgot to mention this piece but I don’t eat eggs. Before I could continue he took the container and tells me they can make another one for me!!! He really didn’t have to do this, but I appreciate him and the gesture so much! Fantastic service, amazing food, beautiful ambiance and great company. What more could you ask for!? Do not sleep on this place!!! I came here two nights in a row!”

“This was my second visit. My first visit I had a patty melt with fries both were very good. I decided to try breakfast. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese omelet. The presentation of the food in the carryout container was appealing. The hashbrowns were delicious. The toast was a bit chewy and the omelet was a bit mundane. I expected it to be more flavorful. The cheese was not very good. I think they use slices. There were two slices on top of the omelet. The service was excellent. The dining room as well as the parking lot were very clean. I will probably not order the omelet again. Maybe something different from the breakfast menu. The options are plentiful.”

“I couldn’t say enough good things about The Hub! They are serving support and energy in the form of shakes and teas, protein bites, as well as various supplements. If you’re not familiar with Herbalife or boosted teas— no problem! The staff is so approachable. They listen and make fantastic recommendations. They are also incredibly kind and genuine. I leave feeling grateful for my interactions with them. My favorite teas include: single girl sangria, sweet tart, hello dolly, and cucumber watermelon (extra watermelon). My dad loves their protein shakes and can’t believe they aren’t made with ice cream. He likes the banana nut bread and brownie batter.”

“If you ever end up going here, do not leave without trying their Hot Cauliflower Taco 🌮. I liked it 10x more than my meat tacos 🌮 (shocking, I know! ). It’s really their best kept secret because most of the customers would be inclined to try the meat tacos on their first visit. The hot chicken taco 🌮 was good too. I wish the chicken pieces were slightly bigger though, as some fried batter pieces easily get included as well. Unfortunately, the pollo taco was below average for me. It wasn’t well-seasoned and I tried to compensate that with lime but didn’t help. They do have picked veggies next to their salsa station/fridge (self-served), and that adds a great deal of flavor to your tacos — so masterstroke there! I absolutely loved loved their Sopapillas (6 of them served with honey). It’s delicious and if you’re on the fence about it, it’s worth the try. The side of potatoes was good too. Parking situation is tricky, they only have a couple of spots in their lot, but you can find find street parking around. I found mine 4 blocks away in the rain, but if I looked around for 4-5 mins, I could have found a closer spot. They have a lot of seating options available and additional seating upstairs. I didn’t see any outdoor seating. This is their brand new location in East Nash, just opened a month back, and I was very excited to try them during their opening month. During my visit, I learned that they used to be a food truck and worked their way up and now have multiple locations available in Nashville. This is my local find of the month and I’m so proud of their journey and would love to keep visiting them in future and support the local business. The staff was extremely friendly. They kept the place super clean and were constantly trying to ensure our time there was enjoyable. They answered so many questions and recommended us their favorites and talked about the history of pie town tacos. I’m so thrilled to have found them and all my friends loved them too. I’ll be going there again.”

“The best thing about Velvet Taco 🌮 is that they’re open late night. And if I fairly assess all the options that are available in town at 4am closer to the popular bars, Velvet Taco 🌮 will make it to my Top 3 any damn day. The tacos are fusion tacos, so if you’re authentic taco purist, this ain’t for you! I personally look for tasty food, I don’t care if it’s fusion or authentic — as long as it tastes good, I’m here for it! My favorite on the menu is Chicken Tikka Taco. Over the years, I’ve seen some tacos being rotated and are no longer on the menu but their popular tacos always stay on the menu. I used to frequent their music row location all the time but now this location is even more convenient to me. Most of my favorite hangout spots are in east Nash so this location is perfect! There’s plenty of parking here and indoor and outdoor seating options. Staff is friendly. Now they’re open till 5am so it got even better.”
