“We go here 2 to 3 times weekly and many times the food is fresh and taste great. If you go during hours that are not peak, the wait has started to become extended and the food not as fresh. Update, just went through drive thru Sunday 5/6 at 4:45pm and received food after waiting for about 15 minutes in car line. Baked fish is dry and rice is so old it’s hard and not edible. Disappointing as this store started out so well and we don’t want to see it go the same direction as some of the other stores in Oakland. I called the store to speak with a manager but the person answering the phone asked me why I wanted to speak with a manager. When I told her the reason, she became rude and put me on hold. No one ever picked up the line.”

“The beer is fantastic, and they even let you try small samples if your uncertain about the flavor. The food is really good and filling. Absolutely loved the service. Everyone was very down to earth and friendly, special mention for Jason who talked with my wife and I about what the Icehouse hopes to do in the near future. “This little coffee shop makes a big splash in Oakland! Truly family run and family friendly in the aspects of customer service and satisfaction. My family and I drive from Bartlett to have a piece of the small town life that is being served up at Columbine Coffee. It's a place where freshness still matters and foods are not microwaved and served as "gourmet." I strive to find places that offer sugar -free options and was very surprised to find that Columbine Coffee has the largest range of sugar - free flavors available to me. The knowledge of coffee beans and the art of brewing are well grasped by the owners as they offer a wide variety of blends. I always consider it a good start to the weekend when I share time with family and friends at Columbine Coffee house.”

“If you haven't been to Layla's Kitchen yet, go. The food was great, staff friendly, and priced fair for the portion sizes. As the menu says, cooked to order. For those in a hurry don't go here and then complain that they took a long time because you can't read. It wasn't ridiculous on time but it certainly isn't one of the fast food joint and the food quality proved that. Beef Gyro which I'm happy to have a good gyro close to home and the chicken sticks surprisingly with no sticks.”

“Good wings and massive salads. Boom! Get the Seasoned 7 piece with Honey Hot on the side. I don't like my wings drowned in sauce and I hate vinegar. So the Seasoned wings lets me get just enough sauce on my wings, and the honey hot has 0 vinegar taste. My wife got the Chicken Tender Salad. It was massive. She couldn't eat the whole thing. And the best part they used real bacon... so good. Pros: Local owners, friendly staff, fair prices, plenty of choices Cons: Very small dine-in area, they didn't have any banana pudding or pecan pie ?”

“Brian is the best server I have ever had and gave me the best food I’ve had in a long time. We go out to eat a lot. We see a lot of servers. Rarely do they up-sell me. Not only did he provide insights on what was good, cuts of meat, and make recommendations, but I was in no way open to a dessert until he introduced me to the 3-layer strawberry cake from New Albany, MS. Who knows even knows that stuff? Who cares where it’s from. Well, Brian did. And now I do. I remember the name because it’s the best dessert I have ever had. And honestly, I don’t know if it was really that good, or he made me believe it was. But I walked out about to pop, and not mad about it. Biggest recommendation for positive interaction, customer service and turnaround times! Ask for Brian!”

“We just moved to the area, and was looking for something besides fast food. We found Brad’s, and we’re so glad that we did! We had the 1/2 chicken plate with two sides. The only problem with it was it disappeared too quickly! The chicken was delicious, it tasted like real food, not overly processed. It was well done, I noticed others have commented on that. But, I enjoyed the flavor, and the chicken was very tender. I tried their fried green beans out of curiosity, and they were good, too! Slaw was good, and had the flavor of some type of relish added to it. Rolls were a very nice addition to the meal as well. It sounds from the other reviews that there have complaints, concerning these restaurants, we’re so glad we didn’t base my decision to visit off those, because we would have missed out! Neat down home cooking with friendly staff. The restaurant was very clean and orderly. Loved the ranch style decor! ????????????????????????”

“Ordering a bun less burger at a fast food restaurant is not simple. It’s unusual and sometimes the staff does not know what to do. Today the Oakland Wendys staff nailed it. The employees...prepared the burgers with good veggies coverage, they threw in extra mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard...they bagged food in organized fashion! Even the teller was chipper! Keep up the great work and continue to hold the bar high!! Well done!”
