“I’m a resident of Loudon Co. - I’ve visited this particular Subway location countless times. Tonight (07/31/19), me and my family decided to stop by and get a sub for dinner. We’d just left Food City and my fiancé wanted something fresh. I’m aware of the operating hours, but instinctively, we checked the time to be sure. It plainly states that the store is open until 9pm - it was 10 minutes prior. The young girl behind the counter had, I presume, already locked the door. My son stood at the door, for a moment, and the young girl shook her head. We then left. I work in this industry and I’ve had many years in customer service. This was very unprofessional and rude, in my opinion. I understand that people look forward to going home after a shift, but you don’t turn away customers during operating hours. I can’t imagine management would approve of this - certainly not corporate. I did not give this store only one star because I don’t believe that would be fitting. I just would encourage management to look out for things like this in the future. Small towns provide the majority of business that these stores will have. Honor your hours and always be welcoming!”

“The first time we ate here, over a year ago, I only gave them 2 stars. They did a little better this time. I ordered the butterfly fried shrimp & my mom got the 8oz sirloin. The shrimp were ok, but the hush puppies were probably the best I've ever had. Their fries were really good too. My mom's steak could have been better. It didn't have any seasoning & it was a little tough to chew. Overall, it wasn't bad. The view of the lake was nice. It may be a while before we come back, but I'm sure we'll give them another try.”

“I frequent this location during my lunch break atleast twice a week. Although under staffed, they run their butts off to get everyone taken care of as best they can. The manager is bilingual which makes things run smoothly. The employee that made my sandwich today, Nikki, was great. She was very polite and friendly and even made a few jokes to lighten the mood. (They were out of several items and she said the truck was running a bit late) She gave very helpful suggestions as to what goes well together since they were out of my usual and my sandwich was fantastic! It may be my new favorite. I know when I come in and either Nikki or the manager is there I will have a great experience. My only suggestion is to get more staff in during lunch and keep steak in stock. Great job guys and keep up the good work.”
