What a GEM! Great country atmosphere, wonderful service and excellent food. Great portions for the price. Catfish, cucumber salad and potato salad. Mmmmm
New chef! She prepared hamburger perfectly medium rare, the chiabata bun was grilled, really one of the best burgers around. Fried squash good too. Nice change from fries. Nice waitress, but service a little slow though not crowded. Otherwise would give 5 stars.
The food is very good. This is southern comfort food done well. We got bbq chicken and were happy with it. All of the sides were yummy also, and the white sauce for the bbq is not to be missed. The large size of the sides was the only issue. The macaroni and cheese was full, but the fried squash and okra filled only half or less than half their containers. I feel like they were overpriced for how much we received. But they did taste good.
Excellent country diner. We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The fried green tomatoes were some of the best we have ever had. We had the catfish and pulled pork platter with baked beans, coleslaw, fried squash and corn nuggets last night. We are not sure how they do the corn nuggets, but if you like corn, you'll love the nuggets.
The BBQ sauce is phenom! Service is friendly! Homely feel to it. The pulled pork needed a bit more flavor but nothing the sauce couldn’t fix. The beans were fantastic with real bacon in it! Definitely made at home type of food. The corn bread is big but good and buttery. The brisket was fantastic! Definitely recommend the brisket over the pork. Loved the sweet tea! In a mason jar. Big enough to share! Loved it
