“Went here for the $11.99 lunch special. I've never had Korean fried chicken so I went with an open mind. The restaurant was very clean and the customer service was great. The attendant was very helpful and provided great suggestions. The food was piping hot. We got wings and fried rice. The wings are crunchy but don't think southern fried chicken. The sauces make the experience. I would recommend the yum sauce for the fried rice, which was ok. At the end we got a donut which was really good. Fried on the outside and soft and gooey in the middle served with an icing.”

“Love this new authentic Indian fast-casual spot in Murfreesboro. Really convenient location if you work at or near St. Thomas Rutherford or if you’re doing some shopping near The Avenue! The curry options are authentic and full of flavor, and the menu has options for various proteins, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Prices are very reasonable and you could definitely have leftovers with the portion size. The owners are incredibly kind and invested in creating amazing food for their customers. “Hidden Gem Alert! This was one of the best meals I have had. Yes, it surprised me how much I enjoyed it. I ordered the Quesabirrias, and they were great. I will 100% be back to explore their menu. Update: I went back to try a Chinese option on the menu. It was Amazing! I really don't understand how you can be so good at both types of food in one restaurant, but they've done it. I had the Mongolian chicken, and absolutely loved it. Bonus, they have a drive through.”

“Hands down the BEST food in Murfreesboro. If you’re looking for home cooked style south Asian food, this is it!!! Indian food-wise is super authentic, taste and flavor best in the region. You can tell that the chefs really care about the diner’s experience and there was not an excess of anything. Everything was super fresh and I can actually taste the freshness of the vegetables. (I’m vegetarian). The meat items looked and smelled amazing but I don’t eat meat so I can’t be of much help there. Though there are usually many veggie options at an Indian/South Asian restaurant, I find that they usually taste generic but at Chutneys I really enjoyed the individual flavors of all the veggie items, even the salad was plain and was so flavorful. Really enjoyed all the veggie items Cauliflower, red beans, okra etc. can’t wait to come back for more!”

“I was REALLY excited for this place but as it sits today after my first visit, I'm just a little disappointed. I would like to try again in a while but we'll see. Went in on Sunday afternoon, it was dead except for people at the bar. We seated ourselves and initially got quick service. However service dwindled, even with no increased patronage, so we paid and left. Ordered the fries, beer Mac and cheese, and a few cocktails (alcohol and non alcoholic). The fries were absolutely fantastic. Best fries in town if I had to bet on it. However, the Mac and cheese was lukewarm and felt like it was terribly microwaved before it hit my plate and table. Extremely disappointed. As for service, our server was mostly absent. Sat at a table with coworkers folding napkins and utensils for 20 minutes without checking on us while complaining about coworkers to other coworkers. Then retreated to be back for another 5 and finally came to check on us, at which point I cashed out and left instead of spending more money like I planned. Atmosphere was good. It's nice, has a live music stage, and a good amount of TVs for football. A good Sunday afternoon spot I'd say..assuming service is better. Unfortunately the atmosphere is deteriorated by what appeared to be a regular patron or two that accosted the staff, was pretty belligerent and pretty rude. Should I return and this person is here, it's an absolute no go. The establishment should ask him to leave after he clearly has had enough yet.. he's still being served. I'll try it again in the future but I'll wait until maybe it hits its 12 month mark before I come back to ensure it's established and the staff issues have been worked out.”

I thought maybe the restaurant hadn't opened for business yet! The restroom needed attention. The floor needed swept. No paper towel machines in this restroom. I don't like touching a restroom door after washing my hands. After leaving the restroom, there was still no one at the counter. There were kiosks to place an order. The drive-thru was very busy. The parking lot and landscaping were pristine.”

“I really don't understand the hate but I guess to each individual experience their own. I came in Saturday and ordered two "2 protein" bowls. Both were with noodles no veggies and included orange chicken and teriyaki steak with the other teriyaki steak and teriyaki chicken. The food was ready in about 15 minutes from order and was hot and fresh. We both absolutely loved our meals and would definitely recommend this place. Assuming from the other reviews your mileage may vary and as with any new place im sure there are growing pains but we personally loved it.”

“I gave them a 4 stars review because of the service, a friend recommend this place saying that you can orden ahead to pick up by phone but I called and the lady said they don’t take orders by phone, I had to wait 20+ minutes for empanadas. But I noticed one person showed and picked up an order and go. Also she was polite but not friendly at all and my husband had a even worse experience with them. She was very friendly with other customers that talked with Venezuelan accent 🙄 that I noticed, but with us wasn’t that nicely I will said even a little annoyed. We are not from Venezuela but we appreciate good food and good service. I payed my food and I appreciate their business but maybe if they learn to value and appreciate the diversity of the customers I will leave them a better review next time 🤷🏻♀️”
