“The plain glazed donuts are really really good. The blueberry donuts are absolutely amazing. I mean they have got to be the best donuts in the entire state. I ordered a dozen donuts to take to work, and when my boss tasted them he instantly promoted me to head of the company just as a thank you for introducing him to these delicious morsels of fluffy goodness. I once took a box with me hiking through the Amazon where I was ambushed and captured by an indigenous tribe. I was tied up and suspended over a giant boiling cauldron but thankfully before they started cooking me they discovered the donuts in my belongs. After tasting them, they made me leader of the tribe instead of cooking me. We've since incorporated them into the company I now lead and we are exploring options on how to leverage these donuts to solve the issues of both world hunger and world peace. The maple donuts are only ok.”

“Exceptional service. Candy Cane ( yes, that's what her name tag said), was an amazing teacher when it came to throwing axes. As for the food, it was standard pub food, good, and hit the spot. 5 stars because of the service and fun atmosphere. Also, a fantastic place for a first date, in the ladies room they have a poster for an angel shot. If you don't know what that is, look it up. Safety first!”

“Going for barbecue but ended up getting the smoked meatloaf sandwich, smoked potato salad, and pork rinds. Meatloaf and potato salad 5 stars! Pork rinds was a large serving that came out popping hot (hint opt out of the hot sauce and try dipping in the barbecue sauce). On top of the great tasting food was friendly service and the building had a great atmosphere. Very happy with meal and will be going back!”

“This was a great find for outstanding breakfast and lunch! The proprietors were very friendly and personable, answering all of our questions and chatting with us as well. Even with a small menu, it was very hard to limit what we would choose. The biscuits and gravy called my name and did not disappoint. Both were homemade and excellent! The Reuben sandwich had delicious, lean corned beef that had been smoked in house and was tender and flavorful, served on fresh, locally baked bread. The baked beans were a real treat and had me coming back hours later for seconds! Their secret? The recipe came from a Sesame Street cookbook! These were the best I'd ever had - cooked low and slow for a long time until every ingredient melted together. Yum! Definitely stop here...you will be very glad you did!”

“Wow, so many great things about this place I don’t even know where to start! Staff was fabulous, some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our 10 day trip and very helpful. The store was clean and well stocked, the food we sampled was spectacular. The yams are everything you could dream of and we sampled and purchased pickled quail eggs that are some of the best eggs we’ve ever had! One of the employees even assisted us with getting a wayward toy off of the roof and we are so very thankful. If you’re looking for great food, amazing service, friendly conversation and yummy novelty snacks, look no further. I can’t say enough about this place, this was the highlight of our day. We hope to return very soon! 10/10”
