“This restaurant is a hidden gem. I decided to go after seeing their mouth watering crab roll on IG. Unfortunately, the crab roll wasn’t available when I arrived, but the wonderful chef heard my disappointment and suggested that I try the catfish. Oh my, she didn’t disappoint…the catfish was cooked to perfection…perfectly seasoned—not greasy or soggy. First time in my life that I didn’t need hot sauce nor tartar sauce applied to my fish. It was delicious as well as the French fries and cold slaw. Major kudos to the chef(s). Everyone associated with this establishment is so courteous and professional and you feel they appreciate your business. I will definitely be returning for the lobster rolls and other dishes.”

“Henhouse is definitely a new favorite! It's super cute and trendy with good food. It's perfect for a girl's night out or brunch so make sure you're ready for plenty of pictures! The menu is a bit small but there is at least 1 option for everyone (including vegan). I've gone for brunch, dinner, and once just for drinks, and every time it has been a great experience with good service. I recommend trying the truffle fries, smoked gouda burger, and chicken & waffles. I'll be back soon for happy hour/dinner so hopefully, I'll have more personal recommendations! The plan is to try the entire menu! Brunch is every Wednesday- Saturday from 11am-2pm and happy hour is Mon - Thursday 3pm - 5pm”

“Unbelievable food and service! I’m so grateful to have an early breakfast and lunch restaurant right by my home! Greeted with a plate of incredible pastries to start, a chai latte, then the seared tuna edamame salad and it was absolutely remarkable. General manager came and checked on us, and our server was quick and efficient. The patio is spacious and they even gave us a fan in case their were any outdoor flies, I mean… it is a patio… ☺️☺️☺️!! This place is great!!! Check it out, it won’t disappoint!!”

“People are nice, but you never get a receipt! I think I now know why! There is a good chance you will be double charged for things. (See other comments.) How is it that I paid $12 for a $6 bag of chips……. but just make sure you keep an eye on that and ask for the receipt and tell them! Other than that the place has just about everything you need in a convenient store. 🤷♀️ Also, they aren’t open 24 hours. I’m here at 7:30 and everything is closed down and doors covered.”

“This place was quite refreshing for Memphis. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent food. Reagan and Jonathan did a great job serving us. We started off with the spinach and artichoke dip and it was really good. Great hint of Parmesan flavor and crispy, chips. I had the Kung Pao salmon and it was terrific. Cooked just right with a great Asian sauce and a side of soy cilantro rice. My wife had the chicken sandwich and said it was very good as well. We also saved room for dessert (recommended!). We shared the Screwball banana bread pudding and it was really good. Great flavors without being heavy. We will absolutely return!”

“I've been to The Lobbyist a couple of times, and this is one of the best in Memphis. It's fine dining, the courses change from visit to visit as ingredients go in and out of season, and it's very delicious. Portion sizes are good, the vegetables, for instance can be shared by the table. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is not too loud. The staff was also careful with a dietary restriction at the table. Well recommended. We had drinks, appetizer, vegetables, main courses, and a photogenic dessert to get the cost over $100 per with tip and tax.”

“Update: The second time was cool too! A weekend night was definitely different there than a weekday. You can tell that this is going to be one of the spots that the friends of the service industry are going to frequent and it’s all good! I had the Mexican pizza which was bigger than I expected and I’ve tried plenty of margarita flavors. The service was great, shout-out to Jose and “Jos-sway”. — First time here was so good that we stayed for FIVE hours!
