“Was in Cookeville for the first time and multiple people told us we needed to stop by. The service was fantastic and everybody was super friendly. “This has been the best restaurant I have EVER been to in my life from the pleasantness of the staff, to the delicious food, to the live entertainment to the owners open door policy. I felt at my home surrounded by friends and family. The place is full of compassion, love and kindness. They treat you like you belong without judgement. I love Kathy's story of how she opened this restaurant with her sister. Ask her about it. She gives back to the community by donating hot meals to those that can't afford them and she helps those young children eat when there are no free school meals. Monday through Saturday meals are prepared to order and on Sunday it's buffet style. Any time I can return to Tennessee I'll make it a point to stop in and enjoy my home meal away from home.”

“The hostess was so considerate to my family of 5 (with 3 kids under 5) by changing the music to Disney songs 🎵 and walked us through the menu. They also serve breakfast all day which was perfect for my son who loves pancakes. Their bread&butter is like Texas roadhouse but on steroids! I really did enjoy our time here taking my kids for a tea experience but also food that my kids could enjoy like Mac n cheese. The only downside was the table being so packed with plates we didn't use and they seemed short staff because at the end they had like 10 door dash orders come in at once. I will say the desserts and food were all flavourful 😋 everything had its own twist.”

“The plain glazed donuts are really really good. The blueberry donuts are absolutely amazing. I mean they have got to be the best donuts in the entire state. I ordered a dozen donuts to take to work, and when my boss tasted them he instantly promoted me to head of the company just as a thank you for introducing him to these delicious morsels of fluffy goodness. I once took a box with me hiking through the Amazon where I was ambushed and captured by an indigenous tribe. I was tied up and suspended over a giant boiling cauldron but thankfully before they started cooking me they discovered the donuts in my belongs. After tasting them, they made me leader of the tribe instead of cooking me. We've since incorporated them into the company I now lead and we are exploring options on how to leverage these donuts to solve the issues of both world hunger and world peace. The maple donuts are only ok.”

I’m sure it would have tasted great if they would have included the dressing as well. Unfortunately, I took this to work, so I didn’t have anything on hand. The apples are brown in the picture because I took it with me. Make sure you ask them not to cut it if you’re traveling. Everyone was nice, but yeah.. even if the salad had dressing, not sure if it was worth $11.”

The pizza was ready in 15 minutes and it was extremely affordable especially for a college student. Originally I didn’t understand how their menu worked so I accidentally ordered the wrong thing. I came back to the restaurant and he explained to me (very kindly) that I accidentally ordered the wrong pie. Free of charge, he made me a brand new pie and it was ready in 15 minutes! Pizza is incredible and the customer service was just as amazing. I will DEFINITELY be visiting this place more often!”
