“Butler's BBQ is a top-notch BBQ joint! We enjoyed the chicken and brisket on our first visit. Very tender and flavorful, with the perfect amount of seasoning and sauce, which comes on the meat. There are plenty of sides to choose from: mac-n-cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and corn bread were our choices. It is a cozy restaurant with very friendly people working there. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!”

“Oh gosh! So many great things to say about this place! The food is phenomenal, customer service is on point, and the place is clean. My friend and I went there yesterday for lunch and I'm usually hesitant on visiting restaurants in Central Texas who claim to have Cajun cuisine "just like New Orleans" because it normally ends in disappointment especially considering that's where my folks are from and I can taste the authenticity. But this establishment aims to please hunny! Chef Kim works magic on that fish, shrimp and red beans. The seafood is so good that you don't even need a lick of hot sauce. Plus they give u a large amount 4 ya money! I can't wait to go back and try some of their crawfish and shrimp po boys! Needless to say, I went to bed happy last night. The only downside is having to travel all the way across town to the hood to get get to them, but other than that Mardi Gras Café is the place you wanna be. Oh and much thanks to the waitress Patricia, she was such a sweetheart!”

“Th first time I cam here 2 years ago the service and food was 5 stars. Food was amazing and the burger was cooked so well and juicy. So much so I had to come back. I rarely eat red meat but my brother and sister in law were in town and they love burgers. The service we super slow. The cashier and the ladies in the back were very rude. I guess the cashier I had was new, so she didn't press the combo button. I only figure that out when the food came out and they only gave me a burger. On another note, the burger was so dry I ended up buying extra meg sauce to juice up the burger a bit. More than likely not returning again Only giving 3 stars because the first time was a 5. This time, with me being generous, was a 2.”

And how things were put together was kind of bad too. It sounds nit picky but of all things please don't mess up my food. I would expect the same service you would expect as well. “The staff was very efficient and friendly. I had heard others talking about it but had never tried it. "Don't judge a book by it's cover" fits very well here. Always packed and always excellent food. Having been to Hawaii several times, I can say that this authentic food brought back some amazing memories. We all enjoyed this moderately priced food which was quick and easy to get us back to business.”

“I came here many years ago as a young soldier, and it was my favorite Mexican restaurant. I’d say it’s not necessarily the best Mexican food that I’ve ever had, but it’s not bad by any means. Good flavor to the food, the salsa isn’t overly hot, and the meat isn’t overly greasy, either. This one is still better to me than their other locations, although I haven’t been to the one in Harker Heights yet.”
