“Update (21-Jan-22): Kent responded to my review below. He was very apologetic, and sent me certificates to go back and give it another shot. That was quite a while ago, as I was traveling often between Illinois and Texas and lost the certificates. But when we moved back to Texas I found them while unpacking. Since we were going to Alvin on last Friday we decided to stop by and try again. What a difference from last time! Both the food and the service were great! I'm sure we will be stopping by again. It appears that they must have been just having a bad day last time. I was able to meet Kent, and he seems to be a really nice guy that is genuinely concerned about his customer's experience Original review: What a disappointment! It's been quite a few years since we were last there. I don't know what happened, but this trip is a one-star, and last time in would have been at least four-stars. The food was awful. Just awful.
