Great modern furniture and art adorns the walls and provide pops of color against minimalist white walls. There is something inherently cool about the juxtaposition of modern inside in this old building. A nice list of Sake's and other libations provide solid purpose for a visit. All this is perfectly complemented by good service and great hosts. 100 percent worth a visit or two or three.”

“This location is always fast when I order online. Lots of parking so I can easily run in to get my order. Sometimes I go in the drive thru if there’s not a line. Today I went in to get my order and for the first time had to wait for my drink. Turns out someone had accidentally picked up my drink so they took extra precautions to remake mine due to covid. This made me feel safe. They are also so friendly here!”

I was impressed with how FRESH everything tasted, the chips were thick and crisp to perfection! We ordered the Ceviche Tostadas as an Appetizer, Horchata to Drink, and had the Carne Asada for dinner; It was covered by a nopal and it was the first time we ever had one, It tasted amazing. The carne asada was grilled to perfection, nice flavor and very tender. And finally we were surprised by a CHURRO for dessert! The staff is excellent, the friendliest you'll ever find! My husband and I always share our meals so we can taste a little bit of everything. The servings are very generous and the prices are hard to beat. Really impressed with everything. You'd never imagine finding such an amazing place at that location... Another reason you should never judge a book by its cover! Will be going there for our Mexican Food fix from now on!!!”

“This place has great pool tables with accurate side cushions, and pool cues are actually mostly straight. So if you're looking to play pool, this is probably the best spot in B/CS. The bar has a nice selection and the wait staff was good. I especially like the touch of having some old arcade games around - I haven't played 1942 in decades. Called another order in, told 5 mins. I was across town, so figured from the other experience, should be ready when I get there. There was someone in front of me, took 4 mins with them. I drive up, still hadda wait 6 mins. Asked them, do you not start the items until we arrive?? Oh no, we start them just as you call, I don't know why it's been so long the times you've come by as I remember you from this morning and you DID have to wait an even longer time then, I'm so sorry. “I used to work at Axis, right down the road. Our boss took us here one day and said that we’ve never had such a good burger. Only once have I had a burger better than this one and I’ve eaten a million burgers all over the state! Sure, it’s greasy but that doesn’t necessarily equal ‘great’. It’s the flavor of the meat, the spices, even the atmosphere of the seedy little store that it’s in. The last time I was there was on a rainy Saturday afternoon- very quiet, cool weather, wet and dreary and the burger was delicious enough to make the day 100x better!”
