This chain rocks. They got a great outdoors feel. Homey feeling. And the icecream.

OooRah! Yes they are open during Wuhan virus crises now with indoor seating; a bit limited now. Nice shade tree on patio so one can eat out there. Great 1st impression for this location and chain. Never eaten here before. Shields up btw you and counter and rail keeps one's distance when making order. See photo

Phenomenal place! The service and friendliness of the staff was amazing and they were very aware during a "take-out only" restriction. Go by and support these guys!!! Great place!!!

First time ever to go to The Great Outdoors and we visited this Frisco, TX location. Very nice service, but a couple of young guys behind the sandwich bar need a little bit of help and customer service guidance, however the sandwich was great. I got a croissant sandwich club which needs a bit more meat apparently you can order double meat and I should have. The bathrooms however, have an odd decor as there is a menu in there I'm not sure if that's politically incorrect or inappropriate or weird or otherwise but nice to know that there's a menu in the restroom. LOL. I also love the fact that they have IBC cream soda but their chip bags are only 1 oz but not too shabby. The tables are unique in that they have these cool cutouts as individual placemats if you will. Check out the pics.

Your adventure to Great Outdoors starts from the moment you walk up. There is an overgrown tree that covers the front of the store. Inside the decor resembles a log cabin.

    On to the food:
    1. Fresh bread
    2. Sliced to order cheeses and meats
    3. Fresh toppings

Customer service is on point to, all of the employees are cheerful. Even during the busiest lunch rush these folks work the line quickly.

    My only gripes (minor)
    1. Fountain Drinks - the drinks are “behind” the counter. Hard to get to the cashier in between orders to get a refill
    2. Chips - the bags of chips are smaller than other other sandwich places.
