“Texas ski travelers! This place is worth the stop! I’m so glad we didn’t settle for our usual chain restaurant selection. The burgers were great! Service was awesome, friendly, and quick, even though they were super busy! We had three in our group, all chose the burgers. I had the cheeseburger with grilled onions and fries (pictured-oops! forgot to take the pic before I smashed the bun down and took a bite lol) My husband had the bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions (you can choose grilled or raw or no onions, we like grilled.) My son (15) had the DOUBLE bacon cheeseburger with curly fries and scarfed the whole thing down like a typical teenage boy, then finished my fries 🤣 (his burger is in the background of the burger pic.) After all of us saying how good the food was and how full our bellies are, both the guys opted for a small milkshake. It was a very huge “small”! (see pic) Both shakes were devoured as well. This place has so much on the menu. We’ll definitely add The Grill to our list of “must-stop”food places! Looking forward to trying their Texas Nachos next time. ‘Till next time!!!”

“I came in after eating some chips at the gas station, a friend told me to order the Fortnite Burger, and man…. It did not disappoint! It was one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life time. Definitely check out La Cocina de Maria. It serves some very good authentic food. The menu could be a bit more bigger but they make up with their delicious Fortnite Burgers.”

“Small time place that knows how to make tacos When you are on your way up to Amarillo or down to Houston you need to stop here for some tacos. It's close to the main thoroughfare and easy to get to. Sure you might be waited on by a 12 yr old daughter of someone who works there and the salsa bar may be a mess but the girls know what they are doing and the salsa is tasty. We have only gotten tacos but there have combo plates as well. The tacos come on 2 corn tortillas and are "street style" (small), this allows you to try different ones. We never had one we didn't like. Stopping here is a 1000% better than another generic fast food lunch/dinner. - Recommended”

I had to go to the restroom, and I'm not really sure where the horse flies come from but guess to be expected, I was perturbed that it was splatter on the toilet so I grabbed some tp and wet it with soap to clean the toilet, but the splatter flew off! I still scrubbed it. Also, not sure if the door actually locks on the stall, the knob free spins, so I thought I was trapped until I just started pushing against it harder and it stuttered open. So thanks for being here!”

“My wife was looking for a place to grab lunch on our road trip from Wyoming back to Texas. She found the best place to eat! The Front Porch is 5 stars! The best lunch and I'm sure the best breakfast! The restaurant beams with pride of ownership and is an oasis like no other. The chicken fried steak was excellent! The mashed potatoes were perfect! The homemade bread is so tasty! Then...dessert. We tried the chocolate chip cookies and they are fantastic, but we had the (and I quote my wife) "best piece of pie I have ever had in my life!" They change their desserts regularly, but if you ever get a chance to have their Carmel-pecan-coconut-cream cheese pie you don't want to miss it! They have been open for four years. We have driven past this place 8 times since we go to Wyoming every year. Boy have we been missing out. If you are driving through Texline, you will not be disappointed if you stop here. We won't pass it again, we are stopping in from now on! Absolutely loved the experience and the food!”

“It was decent! I would probably go there again. The only thing I didn't like about my burger is that the underside of the buns were super burnt so there was a very bitter flavor with it. My husband got the brisket burger and he said it didn't have much flavor, but I thought it had good flavor! We both agreed the BBQ sauce was really good.”

“Oh my goodness! Heading back from the mountains and we were starving! Called in an order from Clayton and she had it ready when we arrived. Huge burger, very nicely done. We dined at the little table next to the food truck - definitely not fancy but it was exactly what we needed. I’m super picky about my burgers - and this was a lucky find!”
