“Smelled great from the parking lot, the line moved along. I went during lunch rush, so didn't know what to expect. Pro/con: burgers are made when ordered, not precooked, so not a good place if you're in a rush. Burger was good, had good flavour and was juicy. I really enjoyed the crinkle cut fries. Great service, very friendly. I'll try again in the future.”

“This hole in the wall has some delicious pizza and great deals. With 2 slices and a drink for $6.65 you just can't beat that! The pizza slices are big and the slices are thin. The crust is crunchy and depending on what you like to put on your pizza...some of the ingredients is fresh and some is not. The staff is always friendly and inviting. The decor is outdated and the place could use a touch up but at least the pizza is good.”

“Cane Rosso has had some very positive write-ups lately, so we were curious to visit. In the heart of Montrose, this restaurant has a spacious dining area, with modern, comfortable and functional furniture. It also offers an attractive, covered terrace for outdoor dining. There is an adjacent parking garage, with plenty of space. Service was polite, friendly, helpful and attentive. The small dishes, or appetizers were good, but not above average and served without much attempt at a nice presentation. The pizzas were tasty, but the crusts were soggy in places, charred in others. The wine list is limited, including the choices by the glass. Prices are in keeping with other pizza places in town. This is a nicer than average pizza restaurant, but the food could use some improvement.”

“OK, this place just made me happy. What a great vibe inside there!! The burger was pretty darn good (Western) the crispy onion strings on top, we homemade and added a perfect crunch to the burger. What is great, is that I don't always want fries. Sometimes I just want a burger. And a lot of places don't discount a burger if you don't get the side that comes with it. This place, the side is separate. So I can get an $8 burger, no fries instead of a $12 burger hold the fries. The pickle bar, well that just made it for me. Who doesn't like 5 types of pickles to choose from (or try all of?????) The garage doors keep a nice breeze flowing through, the music is upbeat, the employees are friendly, the food is good, and all the little details in the decor, the presentation of food and sides, is fun and funny. This spot is going to be my new go-to burger spot. :)”

“When you go through Carrollton via I-35, it's easy to miss noticing Old Downtown, until you're right on top of it. BUT, make it a point to stop by for lunch, you won't be disappointed. One of our favorites is Sid's Rainbow Grill. It's been a part of Carrollton for a few decades. Sid is still there, and still making the BEST hamburgers, just like years ago. I love his home cut potato chips, so thin and crispy (No bagged chips here). My husband likes the home cut fries. I recently tried his BLT and will order it again. Great food and the most friendly staff. Prices are low enough you'll want to go back several times.”
