Your sides are free (green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, and biscuits) you just choose and pay for your meat (chicken fried steak, fried chicken, smoked chicken, or ftied catfish). I got the smoked chicken it was good until I got to the second piece and it was bloody. Our waiter had an attitude but we didn't let that ruin our fun. This was my second time eating there. Will definitely return, I just won't ever get the smoked chicken again.”

“Ashley was our server. Seemed like she was overwhelmed and stressed. She forgot some of my kids food, and two different servers assisted us on two separate occasions. She definitely needs to be a little more attentive and listen to her customers. Although I still left a tip, my eggs were not hot enough to melt the cheese. My daughter wanted to go in today because she turned 11 today and I just wished there was a little more organized delivery and cleanliness about this location. As I went in to wash my hands in the restroom, one of the employees came straight out of the stall after flushing the toilet and DID NOT WASH HER NASTY HANDS! I WAS DISGUSTED! The door clearly states "ALL EMPLOYEES MUST WASH HANDS BEFORE RETURNING TO WORK"!!!! ????????????... I hope she was not a cook. Could not identify her but I did see she had a black hat, short, slinder, Hispanic/Mexican lady! Please retrain on sanitation and cleanliness!”

“We enjoy coming here after church on Sundays. The place has 8 tv's tuned in to various sports scattered across the room, as well as outdoor seating. The yummy food comes relatively fast, and the cashier was sweet. It is a little crowded around the drink fountain, and there is only one bathroom for each sex, but the place has good food.”

The food has been good so I'm giving it 3 stars but when my last wait was closer to 30 than 10 minutes with only 3 other cars in line I can't do more than that.”

“You have to try the incredible roll at this restaurant. It's one of my favorite hangout locations. The music is relaxing and the owner is very personable. The restaurant is always crowded and the service is great! I have not had a bad dish. They also have a location in Arlington at the Highlands. Back at it again at my favorite restaurant! I love the new expansion of the place! Even after the moves to a larger facility the place is always packed. Packed is always a sign of good food! Had the house soup and my favorite incredible roll again!”

“Usually a 5 star experience, tonight was NOT a usual experience. Usually service is quick, definitely not tonight. Two tables of us were looking around as delivery orders went out pretty fast. 1/3 of our order was brought, then 10 minutes or more later, the rest came up. This is not usual for them. If this were my first visit, I'd never return. We were leaving when part of our order came out. Won't be going back anytime soon, but will return eventually.”

“This was a perfect experience, the way eating at a restaurant should be. We were greeted immediately as we walked in the door and escorted to a table. We were asked if we wanted a booth or free standing table. As we were sitting down, our drink order was taken and arrived in less than a minute. Our waitress returned within a reasonable amount of time to take our order. The food arrived hot, fresh, and delicious without delay. Our glasses were kept full without our having to ask, and she checked on us frequently enough to take care of our needs, but not so much that it was disruptive. Our check was quickly provided as our dishes were removed when we finished our food. She thanked us for coming. Perfection.”

“A great dining experience. Dominique our waitress was spectacular!!! She kept our drinks refilled, paid close attention to our table, food was scrumptious!!! I ordered the prine rib, medium well done. It was perfect and juicy. The restaurant was full. My only downside would be we were really close to the guest on the next table. Strawberry Lemonade is the best I have ever had at a restaurant. 5 stars for this Saltgrass!!????????”
