Babe's Chicken Dinner House

The chicken is amazing. My group tried both the fried and smoked chicken and both were full of flavor and juicy. The sides were really good with the Italian style green beans having a great taste of smoked bacon. The potatoes were super creamy and the gravy was thick and peppered. The corn had a fire roasted taste and was also very good. The waitress Mykiyla I think was her name was very good and extra caring for those of a little more attention in the group. The atmosphere was pleasing with the open room and all the decorations but the music was just a touch loud for normal conversation. Overall this was a great place with the portion being way more than one person could eat and the family style dining. You get 4 pieces of chicken or fish and the sides I mentioned early with refills on the sides. Give them a try!

Roasted chicken was exceptionally good, as was the fried. Homestyle vegetables were awesome too. If you're there at the right time, you can even join the wait staff in a line dance activity. Don't forget the tea, you'll enjoy it

I ate too much. I couldn't help it. The food was so good. We had a lot of people and they took care of us easily. Everyone left overstuffed. We love Babe's.

The catfish and chicken was amazing as usual! I wish we had a Babes closer to home, but this is also the original location so there is a bit of that original place feel. The party we were with was fairly large and the notice was short they were wonderful at accommidating us. The servers were super nice, friendly and fast! We love coming here when we are in town!

Open for supper. No lunch. Served family style. Some of the best fried chicken you will ever eat. Eclectic atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Usually a short wait, but worth it. Just off IH-35 North in Sanger. Downtown
