“Only giving 4 stars because wait time was a bit long. Took about 40 mins from when we ordered to when we received our food. (There was a big table that was served right before us) I’ve tried this place twice now and the first time was opening day. I did a pick up order and asked for the AB hamburger, but they gave us the regular basic one. Still was pretty good. Onion rings are the best compared to the French fries in my opinion. Second time I decided to try something different and got the Cali eggs Benedict. My Bf got the breakfast burrito. Of course I had to try a bite and I preferred his burrito. The green salsa is SO DANG GOOD. Get the green salsa! My only recommendation would be for them to turn on the tv or play some music. It was a bit to quiet and you could hear everyone’s conversations. Overall so far, staff is is super nice and definitely recommend!”

“Excellent little place in a little town. Serves breakfast and lunch, closes at 2pm. The chicken fried steak is massive, flaky, tender, and delicious! The breakfast menu is extensive, so it should be easy to find something. Didn't know about lunch, because a lunch menu was not offered even though it was 11am and they were serving lunch, which is what I wanted. Other than that the food is great and the staff is friendly.”

“Stopped in today January 1st, 2022 straight up 11:00. We were the first customers of the day. The bar tender/waitress and owner were hard at work getting prepared for the day after the holiday festivities from the night before. We were greeted with a warm hello and friendly service. The owner was the cook and our food came out hot and prompt. The food was delicious and as advertised (we had the catfish with a side order of cheese sticks). The bar tender/waitress was so friendly and fun to deal with when she checked up on us. We enjoyed our lunch with an ice cold beer and delicious mixed drink. I highly recommend.”

“Loved this cozy downtown Sanger home cooking cafe / restaurant. The chicken pot pie was to die for and all farm-to-table ingredients! The service was on point! I ordered the tortellini which was the best entree and was delish and perfectly flavored. The pies and desserts are AWESOME! Be sure to add some Blue Bell ice cream to the apple pie! This is a great place to pick up some fresh grocery store items on the way out. I was impressed with the selection of jams, jellies, honey, ground coffee and its farm grown healthy organic fruits and vegetables. A must stop when traveling up I-35 in Northern Denton county!!”

“I visited this location and the service was good, order was correct, and the multiple fans in the dining area were at full force! My food was hot when I got it. My egg rolls were cold by the time I got to them even with the box closed. The location was clean and restrooms were too. Refill beverages were a plus but, it's JNB my son wanted to eat there so we did. Good location with plenty of parking.”

“You kinda know what you're going to get at Sonic. After all, it's Sonic. But you can still think about the experience you've had at a specific location, and my experience at this location was great. The food was exactly what you'd expect, the service was as lightning-fast as it is at all locations, but the young lady who waited on me was a cut above the usual. She was friendly, helpful, and went beyond the usual that you'd expect. I won't have any problem returning to this Sonic for more corn dogs and hot fudge sundaes.”

“The chicken is amazing. My group tried both the fried and smoked chicken and both were full of flavor and juicy. The sides were really good with the Italian style green beans having a great taste of smoked bacon. The potatoes were super creamy and the gravy was thick and peppered. The corn had a fire roasted taste and was also very good. The waitress Mykiyla I think was her name was very good and extra caring for those of a little more attention in the group. The atmosphere was pleasing with the open room and all the decorations but the music was just a touch loud for normal conversation. Overall this was a great place with the portion being way more than one person could eat and the family style dining. You get 4 pieces of chicken or fish and the sides I mentioned early with refills on the sides. Give them a try!”

The parking lot is tiny, being right on I35 we had hoped for a large parking area as we were pulling a fifth wheel - we parked on the street next to the restaurant. “This place is a great steakhouse/ dancehall/ bar to visit! Very rustic, down home kinda feel here. The food was great and the staff was super friendly. Was hungry after loosing a little cash at the casino just north of there, so I figured "let's give it a shot". What a hidden gem this was for great food! Definitely will be back again when I'm up in that part of Texas!”
