Lava Cantina The Colony

I was there with a large group of friends and some of our kids. It was an unexpected large group and Jersey and Austin were amazing for accommodating us. I wouldn't have been able to stay there as long as I did without their help. 10/10 would recommend and go back.

Plus the food and drinks were amazing.

Pretty good food and drink options when we went to brunch. It is a little more in price, but considering it's location it really isn't too bad. Looks to have live music often and the staff was really friendly and helpful.

Great venue but not managed great. A lot of details missed. So whomever built it and pulls in talent knows what they are doing, but management is just doing bare minimum. I feel over time this will make the venue suffer. For now it's decent overall.

The top shelf margarita was not as good as I've had elsewhere but I'll give that to them, it's a matter of opinion. I stayed away from the spicy foods (the ones with the fire icon ????) yet the wings, the ribs and the tacos that bring the fire roasted corn were all very spicy. I will say the chicken was great because it was deliciously tender but all of it was really spicy and I'm used to spicy foods...they should put that on there somewhere.
