“It seems every buyer place wants to be unique by offering things others don't and hwy 55 is no different. If you see there menus certain things stand out. For example they have a two different shrimp sandwich. I don't care for a shrimp to much so didn't try it but definitely unique. The normal food is really good though I have gotten a hambuger and a Philly cheese steak. They also have really good onion rings and shakes.”

“Y'all go eat at the Bluebonnet City Grill...cause I don't want to see another small, locally owned, Ennis restaurant go under. It's down in the Plaza Del Sol shopping center. So I'm getting the word out there...its good food! Look at that Alaskan Salmon! Great crispy seasoning and cooked perfectly medium well. The redskin mashed potatoes were the creamiest, and they thankfully didn't just slop.steamed broccoli on my plate like other restaurants do, they seasoned it well. They baked potato soup was pretty good too, but not my favorite. Atmosphere wise, they could have used some light music, and the floor in the back was super sticky, I think from residual glue from maybe pulling the old floor up and the humidity? Wait staff was good and pleasant. I would have rated it 4 stars because of the atmosphere needs, but that salmon and mashed potatoes were so good, I figured that was the most important thing and deserving of 5 stars By the time I left, the restaurant was filing up nicely so I'm glad to see people have found it.”

“saw the BBQ place from the road and will always stop and try new places. very friendly staff and nice, clean setting. had ribs and sausage with potato salad and coleslaw as sides. meat was tasty, flavorful and fall off the bone good. the potato salad is like a very good deviled egg and the coleslaw is deliciously sweet and creamy. Would definitely come back and recommend.”
