“We shared the fish and shrimp platter and had plenty left over to take home for snacks! And for that much food the price was very reasonable. It was very freshly cooked, and flavorful. Not too spicy for me, just enough to enjoy the flavor. Only drawback was that they don't have their tea and soft drink station going yet, so canned beverages were the only option. Otherwise, a pleasant experience with good food and lovely people who own it. They were very nice, came out to the table to make sure we were happy. Best wishes for lots of success!”

“I ordered the crab leg plate with a potato, corn on the cob and a side order of fried mushrooms. The meal was absolutely delicious. I did not realize there would be so many crab legs. I believe the meal costs $48+ but it was well worth it. I love seafood and I have been waiting for a restaurant of this caliber to come to Red Oak. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend eating here especially if you like seafood. I have seafood allergies so I won’t be indulging every weekend. But this is where I’ll go ever so often to get rid of my cravings…😂😂😂”

“I can’t recommend this place highly enough. My wife and I took our 3 year old in there today and we left more than satisfied. The ice cream was fantastic. The setting—the aesthetic—was perfect; it’s obvious the owners take pride in their business. Beyond that, the owners themselves are incredibly welcoming. Chatting with them a bit while spending time with my family was a pleasure. And that’s what really puts this spot over and above chains like Dairy Queen (though their ice cream is definitely better than Dairy Queen): the proprietors. I’ll go back here again and again to support this business—Red Oak is better for them being here.”

“Absolutely delicious! We tried it for the first time tonight and I was super impressed with the fresh ingredients and made to order food, GREAT PRICE TOO. My family also loved it. We had the Luau Burger, Fries with Cajun seasoning and a City Pizza. They knocked it out of the park. I was surprised when I noticed that the place was inside of a store but it is a very nice convenience store. Very clean and organized. I'd highly recommend it and the staff were sweet, loved the food and super accommodating. Lots of food for low price! We'll be back for sure. Also! They have an Icecream and Donut place next door that was fantastic as well. Very nice place to go for a cheap and delicious date or family friendly meal.”

“We had 2 orders 1 barbacoa, and 1 fajita plate with corn and flour tortillas. I have to say, the plates are a little more pricier than Dallas area but I can understand why. “I tried the food truck at the Mesquite Summer Sizzle event. My son wanted a cheeseburger with pickles only. From the moment I walked to take my order, the young lady was not very friendly. I chocked it up to being SUPER hot outside. I ordered and forgot to ask for pickles. When I went back and explained I forgot to ask for them and requested a few in a cup, she didn't say a word. She handed me a little cup of pickles as requested, but acted like I was doing such a disservice. It was a little annoying, to be frank. I would've given more stars if the person running the food truck was more about customer service. The burger was good though!”

“We've been here a couple times and we LOVE it! That toast is magical, the catfish nuggets are so delicious, and the wings were so crispy. Everything is made fresh when you order it.
