“A great place to eat if you’re shopping locally or looking for some nighttime entertainment. While speaking with a local, she said she had a great burger at this place and it didn’t disappoint. The patty melt came with a solid burger that had a distinct taste with the sauce and grilled onions, while my wife had a grilled cheese, adding tomatoes and grilled onions, that she said was fantastic. The corn salsa was a bit misleading as they said it was creamy, but it was just regular corn off the cob, and was great mixed in with their chili which was tender and not greasy. They have bottled beer and a selection of different shots like the pickle shooter and Jell-O shots, as well as featuring live music in the evening. Would definitely try again if in the area.”

“Boon & Co. a new restaurant/cafe, gourmet grocer and merchant located in the large, white building on South Washington Street (Route 237) between West Austin St. and West Wantke St. is the latest edition to Round Top, Texas's restaurant scene. Inside Boon and Co. reminds me of The Low Country Market in Beaufort, South Carolina, a fine restaurant/cafe in and surrounded by a gourmet grocery and market. Atmosphere, service and food are all good. There is a full bar, a very good wine list. Prices are inline with the overall quality. The restrooms are nice, clean and handicapped accessible. Boon & Co. is brand new, they had a soft opening during the Round Top fall antique show and won't be complete and fully open until January. There is still a little construction and interior design work in progress and the menu is still being developed. By January the already good and well worth a visit is sure to be even better.”

“There are very few options available at Round Top. This was a very nicely decorated and clean tavern. There was a solo artist playing guitar and singing which was nice. It wasn't too loud and he had a really pleasant voice to listen to. The food was well presented and tasty. The peach cobbler was rather odd though. Would have preferred it to have had some kind of pastry. It was more like a peach stew. Rather unusual and wouldn't order again. The wait staff were sweet and attentive.”

“This was truly an unexpected delight!!! We are here as vendors for Round Top Market. It's raining and cold out. This adorable outdoor, tented area looked appealing and the aroma of fresh pizza in the air was very alluring. On entering we appreciated the simplicity of this cozy setup. Extremely friendly staff. We ordered our lamb pizza and crispy rice. Turning around we realized all tables were taken. Three very sweet and engaging ladies kindly invited us to join their table. Our evening consisted of excellent, unexpected company. Delicious wine and truly the most delicious lamb pizza ever!! This is a true must visit when here in Round Top. We plan to revisit again before leaving.”
